Sorry if this has been answered before - I've done some hunting online, but haven't found any info. Does anyone know if the reissue has the same QC issues as the original release? (Shoulders, etc)

 

No specific reports concerning the shoulder issue or battery drain but board members have confirmed there's no noticeable changes/improvements to the mould so it's likely they are exactly the same as the first run....ergo you may get a dud but just like before the odds are stacked in your favour.

One more question - I know with 3p figures you can usually reach out to the manufacturer and they'll supply replacement parts if it's a QC issue or whatever. Any idea if people have had luck contacting either suppliers or TT for replacement shoulder parts/etc?

 

I believe TT will provide customer support but only in Japan. However most retailers will offer refunds or replacements on faulty or damaged goods, check with whomever you buy from. Hopefully you won't need it, plenty of people got perfectly fine Dinobots.

Does anyone know if this weapon kit comes with a weapon rack? Like the first weapon kit for Dinobot did.

If the pieces shown are the exact same size(looks like they are, just seems like the 2nd is pressed in more), then this points to the spring coils being a tad too long on the 1st run(which could cause the spring/ratchet to seize).

If that is indeed the case, then it does explain how adding sandwich bag tabs, e-clips and rc car shock oil was able to fix the issue(since it pushes the alignment tab in further when moving the ratchet joints while preventing the ratchets from seizing).

so there's a reissue coming or is it already available? because i first saw the Impossible Toys version yesterday and, from what people have said regarding Megatron, this may be the version to buy.

anybody with any experience with IT that could provide some insight? i definitely need a MP Dinobot but have balked at the prices on the Takara version (even though i did pony up for BWMegs).

Okay. Pros and cons.

Pros: The axe and the bandoliers. Nicely sculpted and painted. They look great.

Cons: The guns and the holsters. The guns are all painted horribly. The rifle is not very accurate to the show model at all and the pistols actually have part of the show-accurate leg holsters sculpted on them. As for the actual leg holsters, they are very obtrusive, connecting to the bandoliers instead of the actual leg. They also hold the guns with the show-accurate holster part facing outwards... Urgh.

Conclusion: @Chopper Face, where can I get those pistols and rifle? (^.^')
