That's what I meant, a cart that emulates the 32X hardware.

I dread to think how much a commercial FPGA 32X would have to retail for to turn a profit given the amount of work needed to write the core and the low demand for such a thing.

agreed for rubber band sonic, 2 more tracks virtua racing, a terrible star wars arcade port , and er tempo (yeah this sucker paid for an import copy) its in nobody's interest to produce one. I spent a lot of money collecting these things about 12 years ago, I gave up trying to get them when Kolibri went for more than £120.

There is a surprisingly deep level of Mega\Sega CD games available, beyond the usual fmv or shovelware games. Its a shame Night Trap and Road Avenger got so much more press than say Eternal Champions, Snatcher or Soul Star. I do like me some tomcat alley for seeing airfix explosions.

It's not the best ever, but I do wish Chaotix on Mega Sg was possible. I already have a real 32X for my Genesis, so at least I'm set on that front.

But yeah, Sega CD is seriously overlooked...

    Android Assault
    Eternal Champions
    Lords of Thunder
    Lunar 1 & 2
    Popful Mail
    Robo Aleste
    Silpheed
    Snatcher
    Sol-Feace
    Sonic CD
    Vay

That's only a partial list of the good ones, and collecting them would cost a lot more than a Mega-SD. A lot more. I'd encourage people to go look up process and add it all up. Granted, you can get a Sega-CD for less and burn them all to CD-R easily enough. But that disc drive isn't gonna last forever.

That said, it sounds like Krikzz is going to try to make a competing product. Those who can easily might wanna see how the two stack up.

I have never once owned Turbographix 16 or even recall the system much in my radar. I may need to snap up this mini system for the sheer hell of it. Now if only I could score an NES Mini I'd have the complete set of good released mini game consoles.

The only way I'd ever pick up a PS One Mini is if I was paid to do so.

Apparently the PS Classic is becoming great fodder for people to customize into a general emulation player due to a lack of lock outs on Sony's part and USB control ports.

I'm still awaiting more news on which games the TG16 mini will have before making a decision.

Ys Book 1 & 2 is a solid reason in my books to pick it up, if you're a fan of those types of games. I've heard pretty good things about it, and if they include Bonk's Adventure that'll be something. Honestly at this point it's cheaper to get these emulation machines than the original stuff or going hogwild on virtual console style game offerings. At least in most instances. (Still want that Nintendo 64 Mini, Nintendo. And now that you're buddy buddy with Microsoft bring on the entire library of Rare titles including Goldeneye 007 for such an outing.)

I have introduced my cousin to Tecmo Bowl. He seems to likes it. He's figuring it out fast, (my daughter and I don't play football, so we've got no idea what we're doing.) It warms my heart to see kids enjoying NES games.

Came across this and got excited for a moment. I really thought I was going to be able to get the old X-Men arcade finally. But no. Just takes me to a page to add to my wishlist.

When does the PC engine Mini come out?

Does anyone know if Descent is available in any Playstation store? Listened to the soundtrack yesterday and would love to play it again. Or maybe I try to get a cheap USB joystick to play it on PC like I used to. Not having a joystick was the main reason I stopped playing it.

I had a Logitech wingman light and was fine with that one for descent. But then one day my pc did not have a joystick port anymore.

Descent has a modern open engine port called DXX Rebirth and you can buy the game on PC storefronts if you don't have your original discs, no need to bother with the PS1 version even if it was still available.

If you have a current gen console controller, you can just plug that into your PC with the USB cable and use that.

I'd rather play that with a joystick

No set date as far as I know. They just announced it and the first handful of games back in E3, so a release date as well as more titles and interface details will still be forthcoming. If I were to guess, I'd predict if not by the holiday season, then probably around winter or spring 2020.

Yeah, unfortunately Sony lost the license. Same deal other Konami arcade classics that Sony released like The Simpsons Arcade Game and TMNT Turtles in Time Reshelled (TMNT Turtles in TIme remake). Fortunately I downloaded those titles including Xmen onto my PS3 way back before Sony lost the licenses.

    Lucky!
I recall seeing X-Men in the PS3 store a couple times, but then it got removed shortly after I got my PS3. And ever since then, I keep hoping that someone’s found a sneaky way to still get it.

I sometimes wish there was a way to get these games on your ps3 without jailbreaking it. I don't want my PS3 to be banned, it's still my main console.

Ah, the hours I put into playing the arcade game back in the day. I would always play Storm, she's the Donatello of the group (that is, the best range).

But, I know what you mean. I have Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game on my PS3, and I know if the hard drive fails, I will likely never be able to play it again, since it was pulled from PSN years ago. This is precisely what pisses me off about the apparent move away from physical media; when you have a disc you can play it any time, but with games only available through DLC, if something happens to your hard drive and the game license runs out or the online service is discontinued for that console, you're screwed and have nothing to show for the money you paid.
