Found Springer this morning at Wal-mart in Glendora, California. I did not see any other new Siege figures. Who else is supposed to be in this wave?

 

Starscream, who is 2x per case.

Speaking of which, my local Target put out half the wave. The Starscreams, but not the Springers.

Thanx. I wasn't sure if it was that other Arcee that's voyager sized. That's why this one intrigued me because it was deluxe.

 

Went to Walmart for diapers Sunday night the 23rd around 10:00 PM in Owensboro Kentucky and not expecting to find anything new snagged Springer. I almost walked away becase he was neatly concealed behind a Megatron and Starscream, it was his beautiful green head that caught my attention. I did get the diapers too incase anyone is wondering.  

 

Walmart in Sturbridge, MA had 3 of Springer and 3 of Starscream. I bought a Springer.

 

Saw a voyager for the first time in 3 years at Walmart....but it was just a Siege Megatron. And Target has an entire shelf of Megatrons so I'll probably never see Springer in stores.

 

I found Springer at my local Walmart in Sioux Falls, SD yesterday. I wasn't planning on picking it up but it looked so good in-hand that I couldn't resist! Grabbed the last one on the shelf too. There are 3 other Walmarts and 2 Targets in this city but I haven't been to the others in a long time to see what else is around.

 

Found a Springer at Target! And they wouldn't sell it to me.

 

Thats when you just scan starscream or something and then put springer in your bag.

 

I thought of that but sadly I was already driving away.

Seems pretty common. It's so frustrating. They wouldn't sell me Springer but they finally restocked the Battlemasters...with more of wave one.

 

Found him at a Target and a very nice employee let me scan a Megatron to bypass the street date. Made my day.

 

Same thing just happened to us. My 4 (almost 5) year old is allowed to get one guy per wave, and has had his heart set on Springer forever. He marked out this morning when he saw Springer on the shelf, clinging to it the whole way around the store. Get to the register, and they say they can’t sell it till 7/28. I start raising a stink, telling them other retailers are selling it...can’t they just price match amazon/Walmart...don’t you see this 4 year old who’s heart is breaking with every word you say!

Nope, and frankly the associate and manager were pretty cold about it, especially given this involved a kid. I called corporate to see if they could do anything to allow us to make the purchase, and they said they can’t. Did get some empathy for the situation though, and they are sending a $30 gift card for when it is available. Extra Transformer in my boy’s future.

 

I understand where you're coming from, I do, but they have to uphold their company policy no matter even though it sucks. Raising a stink only makes you look the bad guy even though you're not.

 

I hear ya, I’m generally pretty easy going about this sorta stuff, but when it involves your kid, Papa Bear comes out.

Let’s be real, the kid can’t get his transformer yet...first world problems no doubt, but the lack of empathy towards him was the thing they could control, and they failed. Then you hear other stores just scan another figure, and the inconsistency stinks. If you’re going to have that ridgid of rules about not selling it before the street date, then have a better system in place to ensure it doesn’t end up on the shelves before then. From this thread this doesn’t appear to be an isolated instance at all.
