Bandai Tamashi Nation range is generally my go to, they do the job.

I'm hesitent to pick up Greenlight at full RRP, as much as I want more fembots I already have Moonracer, and seeing as the exact same mold was used for Novastar and presumably will be used for Lancer too, i'm pretty sick of that sausage car alt-mode already, I really wish they'd have been a bit more imaginative with the Elita squad.

Hot Rod vs Megatron in Central Park. Originally I was going to have Hot Rod firing his wrist blasters, but whatever I did, it just didn't look right to me

He looks asleep in the box :)  And then awake and ready for battle next to Gen30 Springer!

Springer and Reflector look GREAT. Clearly Hasbro has not 'front-loaded' the line with all the good stuff in the beginning. Each wave has really great figures. I cannot wait to see next year's line...!

That is me still. I watched video tutorials where they used water based luiquid shoe polish. I won't be doing it to every toy, but these siege figures have the detailing which the wash helps bring out.

I love th results on Firedrive (that's its name, right?)

I’ve always looked at it as the sub/spaceship modes are just a leeway for Hasbro to avoid flak for having gun toys. Even if it’s quite obvious to everyone and their sister that they are just upside down guns. IMO Sixshot’s mode is a gun, not a submersible.

Holy crap, Springer rivals Starscream in the articulation category, and Optimus in the personality class:

If you want to get around a cashier street dating you and not selling the item, you scan another figure from the same line and size class at the self-checkout but actually buy the one that would be street dated.

Such an amazing alt mode. While SS is imo more of a display model, siege is such an amazing toy. Pictures can't capture this in hand feeling.

Few random pics I took of Springer last night. Very cool figure. I meant to compare him in bot mode vs voyager prime, but forgot. All the joints on mine are on the medium to tight, even the ankles hold well. Only thing on mine is getting the chest to cockpit disconnects was extremely hard. I'm going to have to look to see what made it so difficult. Maybe there is a tolerance that is too tight I need to open up some. But overall I thought his transformation was a lot cooler than I expected from pictures of him. He wasn't one of my most anticipated releases, but I think he could easily be the best voyager yet in siege.

You could also try using a push pin or needle, jam into the peg and try to remove it that way too...it worked on old GI JOE foot pegs a few times.
