There is still a way to get the SDCC tickets, if you have the budget. They are hosting charity auctions for the returned and cancelled tickets on their eBay to fund the new SDCC museum. It’s a tad bit pricy, but it’s a pair of 2 tickets when it is said and done. That’s how I got my tickets. The eBay is sdcomic-con.

As for getting the Hasbro stuff, you can get it post con in some cases for a small price hike. But at the con itself, it’s limited to 1 a person so far as I’ve been told. You can kind of cheat I’ve heard with other items and go back each day? But I know for hasbro you need a ticket just to get in line (no guarantee to buy).

 

Has there ever been a Transformers figure which was an SDCC exclusive that wasn’t available to buy, post-con? I’m struggling to think of even a single example.

Relax, these will be relatively easy to pick up.

 

It was mostly a joke but I'm worried about another Kreo class of 1984 deal.

Well that accounts for the hot chips, coffee cup, yellow backpack, highlighter and the fish taco we saw in the toyfair display.

Kind of want some of them but not sure if it's enough really to bother tracking them after the con.

 

The highlighter looks like a redeco of the blue one we saw at Toyfair so maybe we’ll actually see that guy in series 3? Otherwise this group seems to have all the other mystery guys from Toy Fair.

Edit: oh wait it looks like the highlighter here is wearing a removable mask?

Either way these guys look really cool, hopefully they’ll be somewhat easily available after the con

 

Pretty sure the highlighter from Toyfair and the one shown here are one and the same, it's just a case of lighting throwing the color off. Went back and watched Seibertrons vid of the display and everyone aside from the Camera were indeed in the display. Although funny enough I missed the fact that both Tents were present. SDCC hidden in the info booth and the slightly lighter green series 3 on the roof.

 

Ah right you are! I’m of two minds then, on the one hand I love the gimmick of these sdcc Botbots as nerds and cosplayers. On the other hand I was hoping all those mysterious Botbots from Toyfair were a sign that we were gonna get a Series 4. But hopefully SDCC itself will bring more news! I can’t imagine they plan on dropping the line if they’re making exclusives of them.

 

Great, I want most of these. And I can barely afford to get retail Botbots. Exclusives might as well kick me in the nadds.

 

Yeah, ignore my earlier insistence that some Series 4 Botbots were shown at Toyfair, then. Looks like these account for all of the ones shown that I didn't think could be in Series 3.

The 16 Arcade Renegades are an Amazon exclusive, nothing to do with SDCC as far as I can tell...
