Did you not pay attention to the last scene between Rikka and Akane at all? Or have you not seen the original show?

SSSS. Gridman, though unsaid, is a sequel to the original Gridman, but it takes place entirely within the Digital World. A world established in the original Gridman that Gridman and his enemies exists in, and it itself exists within a computers. Akane may have entered into that world through a dream, but it was very much real.

The biggest implication that the series took place in the Digital World was in the very first episode where it was established that Gridman could materialize in their “physical world”, as in the original series he was confined to the Digital World and the humans would warp into his to combine with him.

I've seen neither the original Gridman nor Superhuman Samurai Super Syber-Squad.

I did cry a bit. I love Senko. Tate no Yuusha turned out great in the end.

I'm watching Evangelion on Netflix...currently on episode 4. I have never watched any version of this series and, prior to this viewing, had only a general idea of the premise. So far, it kinda feels like an odd blend of Gundam, Voltron and, if you can believe it, Godzilla. Lol (must be the city fight scenes). It has an odd feel so far...not bad...just different. I'm going to stick it out. It goes between hot and cold and silly and serious pretty frequently...so the pacing is a bit unsettling.

So I’ve always been a fan of Evangelion but never got too far when I tried watching it just because it was too complicated to set up, I only ever got about to episode 9. Thankfully Netflix picked it up so even with this inferior dub, I can finally watch it all the way through. And speaking as someone who only just finished episode 22, haven’t gotten past it OR got to the movies so no spoilers please, I have to say this:

    What the FUCK

Just finished Magic Knight Rayearth. There is a solid 26 episode series that can be found among those 49 episodes.

I hear ya. I kinda want to watch it because I know they have giant robots, but as I understand it said giant robots aren't in the show a lot.

They have more of a presence in Season 2 than they do of Season 1, as Season 1 is spent looking for them, but they still don't do too much in the show.

In fact, the second season features these groups from three different kingdoms and I wish the show had focused on those kingdoms because the knights and the world they are protecting is the least interesting aspect of the show.

Thanks to Granblue Fantasy's collab, I'm rewatching Code Geass, but the subbed version this time, I think I remember the English dub.
And I just finished watching the last Code Geass movie, Resurrection? and one big thing that I'm wondering...

    Why is Shirley alive?

Because Resurrection is not in continuity with the TV series, it’s in continuity with the 3 “recap” movies which changed some things (most notably that).

Just finished the first season of Cardfight Vanguard (dubbed, on the official YT channel)
Wow, that was one of the most enjoyable card game anime I've seen. And I've seen almost all of Yugioh!
