I feel like a US one has to be imminent. Next Tuesday is what I am guessing.

 

What's special about next Tuesday? Is it holiday of some sort?

 

Its the last day of the season pretty soon. So if they do have another decent sale - they might want to do it prior to the eBay Bucks being payable & to celebrate the new season / or the end of the old one.

Sometimes they just have "Payday sales". I also wouldn't rule out promotions like "Christmas in July" or a toy-specific sale.

I'd not mind a nice sale - it would give me the excuse to spend on some higher prices items i've been holding off on like BMB ROTF Battle damaged Megatron or another combiner.

 

End of the quarter, which I think is when the last flash sale happened.

 

If the sale happens on quarter-end, that means it will be on June 30th, a Sunday. Ugh!

I have a list of things that I want to get and have been banking on this pending flash sale.

 

I think the last sale happened March 12, not the last days of the quarter.

 

Just means it would happen between now and end of the quarter...

It could very well be flash sales and mostly a thing of the past other than maybe a couple times a year... eBay buck deals are far better promotions from eBay's standpoint.

 

I still have hope until we finish June. Hopefully something next week.  

 

Without flash sales, how many people are actually saving money? I know I am as I am not buying that much off of Ebay. When we had twice a month flash sales, I used to buy the max to receive the max $100 cap discount on several accounts. With the lack of flash sales and not much new to buy in 2019, has saved me a lot of money.

 

I only use the flash sales to buy things that are lower priority these days. You can't sleep on your priority bots, waiting for a Flash sales risks a sell out. So I preorder all the high priority stuff and use the flash sales on stuff that just looks mildly interesting.

 

Ebay had flash sales at least once a month in 2018. Max $100 cap on several accounts? It is a lot of money and a lot of savings.

 

There's still often money to be saved over most online shops...but those savings are much more modest. If I'm only saving a few bucks, I might be better off just using one of the shops with great customer service and loyalty rewards.

 

I have been buying mostly from Baba for the past year and a half. I will probably just end up buying from him direct, unless I find an equal or better Avenue for new releases.

 

Last week before July starts. Hopefully we will have one before the end of this week.

 

I usually price check between baba and ShowZ. ShowZ has better pricing when it comes to TE-01 and TE-01B.
Also do a search on Ebay to see of any other trustworthy sellers have beaten Baba's price.

Amazon Prime Day July 15 and 16. EBay already announced heavy discounts on certain tech on those days to compete. But last year they also had 15% flash sale a few days before Amazon Prime day (code PRIMOSALE probably a play on PRIME). So I'm guessing maybe another flash sale before Amazon Prime Day this year too.

 

With today being the 26th, I'm starting to lose faith in a June flash sale happening. It would have made the most sense for the sale to happen before Father's day, but I digress.

Ah well... I'll just continue to buy from Baba like I always have.
