Oh yeah, some of the ships are ridiculous from a 'lore' perspective. That's why as soon as I got the Discovery Constitution from an R&D box I made a brand new DSC-era character and gave it to her instead of having my 25th century Captain fly it around. I just have it in my head that the ship was drawn into the future with her :lol

But in a game like STO, you know people would complain if their favourite ship wasn't in it, even if it makes no sense for them to have it. But I usually let it slide, because Star Trek is a franchise that regularly bends science and logic over a barrel in the name of coolness anyway :lol

See when you have to invent your own headcanon you know the devs are not thinking straight
I dont have a problem with all the ships, just keep them in their own timelines and races or release a third neutral faction...it just got way to random for me and i stopped playing when i kept seeing Starfleet officers flying Galors, Bug ships and marauders all the time

and then they caved on the one thing they said they would never do...T6 Connie and Miranda...fecking rediculous.

Its a shame STO never got a proper chance....from the stunted conversion of their Champions Online engine to the F2P nonsense they ruined what could have been the ultimate Star Trek game

Oreo ferret is home again, with a sizable bald spot on his fur and a specially made cone of shame which is preventing him from accessing the upper levels of Ferret HQ as the ramps are at quite an angle and the cone gets in the way so I've moved his food and water down to the bottom.

He was bright enough when we went in to get him and scoffed down some steak when we first got home so he's not doing bad all things considered, I think he's just a bit frustrated with the cone and Rebecca is puzzled as to why she's been moved to the outside HQ for the moment but I brought her to see him so she knows he's back so hopefully she won't get too stressed by the situation.

Got a sheet of do's and don'ts from the vet and we arranged to take him for a post op check on Wednesday so I just have to keep an eye on him and make sure he gets lots of rest which he won't get if Rebecca's in with him as she'll be all "Lets play!, lets play!" and even if she didn't mean it there'd be a risk of the wound getting caught before it's started to heal properly.

Thanks again to everyone who sent well wishes for the furry fella, it's much appreciated! :)

Foolishly experimented with my Energon Tidal Wave turrets and found out at least the smaller turrets have 5mm posts on 'em so if someone could talk me out of buying a junker Tidal Wave to harvest & mod them for my TR fella, yeah, that would be great! :redface2:

Nnnnnnno... that's the actual story. If you have a TOS or DSC era captain, the first few missions are in the 23rd century on a dedicated, smaller galaxy map, then you're pulled to the future by Daniels from Enterprise.

    EDIT:

can't disagree with any of your choices, totally spot on. they were all "oh" moments when I first saw them.

only one I didn't know was the g2 prime disintegration one.

and seeing all those moments makes me want to go back and read them all, job done Sixo, job is a good un!

Just wanted to post a pic of my purchases over the last few weeks; probably should have placed the Shockwaves on the right!

Yup, I feel ya, I am completely on board this hype no-longer-a-train but a proper tank, rocket and base again!
Just downloaded the wallpaper image from his Siege Teletraan entry to stick as a Facebook banner and for the first time spotted the Ark next to him, looks a bit like he's playing the Metroplex role in the Ark's launch from the WFC games there. Tidy!

Great article Sixo, I still haven't read the G2 comics as I had pretty much gotten out of the TF phase by then. The only one I would have added, tat haven't been mentioned, would have been in Space Pirates where the defeated Autobot city crew are pictured hanging on the city walls.

Is Omega Supreme coming out August? Yikes, that could suck all the money out of the dealer hall at Tfnation.

I remember doing a Botcon the year Metroplex came out, BBTS paid super fast shipping to get them in the country before anyone else but had to charge an extra $50 on top, everyone wanted them because they were new and most dealers did piss poor.

Video game wise, I've been playing Crackdown 3. It's shit in the same way some of my favourite dumb 80s movies are shit, but after two sessions I've done nearly everything there is to do which is a shame. Terry Crews though.
