won a Commemorative Series Bluestreak on Ebay last night. I hope to get one a month to complete this collection. Have Optimus, Ironhide and Ratchet will arrive later in the week

 

God forbid no one decided to check the top shelf’s at Walmart  

 

The robot modes are really disappointing. The legs are too small. The wings are fiddly but it's the goofy heads that really ruin it. I might see if I can put an Energon Starscream head on instead.

I prefer the G1 toys of the Coneheads where they just look like regular Seekers.

Update: Sadly neither the Energon nor the Siege Seeker heads would fit. Shame as they would have been better proportioned with the IT Seeker body.

 

Not entirely recent, but certainly within the last 3 weeks.

 

Was strolling through Walmart and lookie who showed up:

Both are simply spectacular!
And I can’t believe I’m saying this, but my Walmart has a better selection than my Target... 

 

The Walmarts around me have been blowing Target out of the water for a while now.

 

Picked up a second-hand Prime Rumble for only MYR 55 (around USD 13). Aside from some scratched paint at the chin and crotch, the figure itself is in good shape.




i went to transform this figure after I purchased it, and for some reason there's little to no ground clereance for the wheels to roll. I might be transformed it wrong but I can see where the paint scratches at the yellow paint of the torso came from.

 

I want that toy badly....to repaint and decal it.

 

Damn you all! I can't take anymore pics of Brunt, I bit the bullet and ordered him off Amazon as well.

I'll pay a few bucks extra overall but it'll save me time and stress driving around Calgary looking for him. Just watch though, now that I've ordered him he'll probably show up in stores here before mine arrives. 

 

I'm late to the party but I finally completed my hodgepodge Chaos on Velocitron set with the amazing Lazer Prime, Fastlane, Rodimus Titan Master and the highly coveted IDW (ish) Autobot Nautica!

And I also just ordered Siege Greenlight from Amazon. I can finally trade-in regular jet CW Blastoff that's been seving as a leg. Now we just need Lancer so I can remove CW deluxe Groove as the other leg, but at least he's the right faction.

That leads to my next issue, what to do with solo Groove? I really like mini Groove as Defensor's chest armor, and that his smaller motorcycle scales better with the rest of the team, as opposed to a giant motorcycle. And I like Rook as the buff new member, but big leg Groove is show accurate. What to do? I don't want two Grooves being on there.

 

Despite not appearing in the Prime tv show, Prime Rumble as a toy do make for a pretty good cannon-fodder against my Autobots and custom works.

Saw another collector (presumably) walk out with Seaspray moments before I found the Cosmos. Tragic.
