This does have me concerned with the Heroes line of MC figures. They are selling out pretty well in my area. Evil Lyn you really can’t find though I have seen her a few times. After weeks and weeks of searching Walmarts, Targets, Amazon and random toy stores and Gamestops I finally found Sandshrew. Now I am all caught up on pokemon. Hooray!!!

I've been watching eBay for a while now, haven't seen but one set pop up there. Jeez, if they want to kill a line, just stop producing stuff altogether. No need to trickle it out in limited market availability.
Right now, they aren't, but I think they have a long, long way to go before they fail and go under completely. That, and Mr. MGA CEO has been trying to buy them and has been denied at every turn. Wouldn't be surprised if he's saying this stuff because they keep telling him "no".
Some of my recent additions. Finally found some Wave 2 Breakout Beasts. I found the Black Dragon at Target all by itself, and I found the Green Dragon at Barnes and Noble with 2 from Wave 1. Jesus these are hard to find. I only picked up the Black one. Found the Destiny Titan at Gamestop for like $4 on clearance.
Yeah I skipped what he was saying and just focused on the numbers. Sure things aren't as bad as a year or two ago, but that doesn't mean Mattel is in a healthy spot either. My concern is whether or not they can weather the storm and get to the point they need to be in, what with the way toys are these days. MC could do well enough with Pokemon and He-Man alone. More MOTU sets and since the roster is so damn large branch He-Man off into it's own heroes line. That still doesn't help with the distribution problem though. If they can't get retailers to carry their stuff they should just sell it themselves. Lego has been doing it for years, no reason MC couldn't do the same.

The thing is, Mattel seems to be doing it to theirselves. You and I both had orders at EE.com for the Banished set. Then, Mattel canceled it. Amazon canceled my order for the newest snowmobile that TRU.ca seems to have in stock. And the Marines vs SEALs set seems to be in limbo too now. It's hard to get retailers to commit if you suddenly pull the plug on their orders.
I'd rather not gamble on who I'll get. I hate the idea of blindbags. Breakout Beasts? I've never seen them at a Gamestop around here, and I've been to at least 10. Unless they're hiding them, but I usually look all over the store. I'll see one egg at Five Below, and one or two at Barnes & Noble. The only consistent place I find them at is Target.
I found them at GameStop before Target this time. Wave one was at Target first. At GameStop, they keep them near the registers with the other blind bag/box stuff.
I’d like to give a shoutout to Yaujta for acquiring most of the Halo series 10 lineup for retail price instead of scalper prices. Huge props for the generosity :] With that said, I’m still on the lookout for series 10 Noble Six. So if anyone else by chance comes across it and doesn't collect the Halo figures, I’d love to have it. If anyone can help me out, I’d be very grateful. And on a similar note, if anyone happens to own series 7 Carter and either doesn’t want it anymore or just wants some money, I’d like to have him too to complete the team. Thanks
