I assume it's a misspelling of "G2", since that Sideswipe's colors are based on the Generation 2 figure.

 

Well look at it this way. Siege as the lore of the toyline "takes place" in a specific time of the G1 timeline. The Slamdance toy implies that he was a Flywheels clone before meeting Blaster and getting cassette alt modes. Maybe he was injued and rebuilt. Maybe he willingly went from full-size Cybertronian to cassette combiner to be closer to Blaster. There are a lot of story possibilities there.

So a release should be pretty imminent, huh?

I’d rather have had Trenchfoot be black and blue, renamed Vanguard.

I guess that makes Slamdance the leader of this small force.

 

So was the pack renamed or is the Firestormer pack a different pack we haven't seen?

 

firestormer was an internal place holder name, just like titans return chaos on velocitron being the speed set and siege on cybertron being the strength set

 

Sideswipe is basically IDW Sideswipe II for all intents and purposes.

 

The box art looks interesting. They're all facing one direction, so I wonder if the eventual Skywarp set will have art that points him in the opposite direction facing the Autobots.

 

Oh yeah, I thought about that when they gave him the moniker "Covert Clone." Or because of the "Clone" part, he could be a slight homage to the blue and yellow G2 Sideswipe.

Almost as if he could be interpreted as either IDW's Sideswipe Jr. or the original Sideswipe in G2 colors.

So, sideswipe\'s eyes are red instead of blue?

 

If it wasn’t for the g2 sideswipe, I’d skip this. I already have a kfc slamdance in the proper size. This slamdance will be repurposed to a new character maybe named alpha strike.

 

Trenchfoot is a medical condition specifically associated with trench warfare in the First World War.
See, the trenches weren't covered, and rain would fill them up above waste-depth with mud, and without plumbing, it all mixed with waste and gore from injured/dead soldiers.
Also they didn't give soldiers wader pants. So they were just standing around in what was basically open sewer/corpse mud, and naturally, their feet would be the first bits to get soaked. Unable to dry, their skin would swell, crack, and those crackes would fill with the fungus and bacteria, and the coldness alongside that would cause necrosis leading to straight-up gangrene.

So yeah, GREAT NAME HASBRO.

 

I’m guessing that’s the idea, because in the product description from Amazon Germany it notes that this is part 1 of the final strike collection and that you need to buy part 2 (the decepticon phantom strike squadron) to complete the "Epic battle scene".
