Interestingly, thanks to Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm, the company Purcell works for currently is part of the same conglomerate as the one DF will have to license the game from. :p

There was a attempt by Capcom during the heyday of Street Fighter IV. Unfortunately, what they decided was to decide to hold on giving the project a green light until they see how much profit a Darkstalkers downloadable collection they were releasing did. It did well, but not well enough in Capcom's eyes, so their plans for a true Darkstalkers sequel brought up to SFIV's graphics were mothballed. All I know was I did my part and bought that collection on Day 01.

I just want a proper HD remaster of Super Mario 64. Nintendo’s stance towards re-releasing its older games these days kinda doesn’t hold a lot of water.

Yeah, I heard that the Resurrection collection didn't sell as well as Capcom hoped. I was very tempted to get it on my PS3, but I ended up not doing it because I already have the Japanese Saturn release of Vampire Savior, which I consider to be the pinnacle of the series, what with having every character in one game. I guess my rationale was that I'd rather just play it on my Saturn, though I do kinda regret not getting it (not that my one sale would have made much of a difference in Capcom's decision-making).

I wouldn't worry about it. I'd probably be the same way if I had your version. Maybe one day we'll get one, though by that point, I'd be more concerned about Capcom toning down some aspects to meet modern social expectations.

I too would love to see a Mario 64 remaster. They sort of did that already with the port to the DS, so why not give it the full treatment?

Adding the DS-exclusive stars and levels would be nice too! :)

I want to see a reborn version of "Smash T.V.". Keep the gameplay, but modern 2.5 graphics, make it super Zeerust 80's future, ultra neon, ultra violent, ultra sexy, ultra satire, up to 4 player, and I'd be a happy camper.

Personally, I've always liked to imagine Smash TV taking place in the Robocop universe.

Nah, I say go for it. Maybe the remake will actually be a good game this time.

Years after "DuckTales Remastered", I'm still waiting for WayFoward to give the remastered treatment to Darkwing Duck (NES). I actually thought when DuckTales released that maybe we'd get 1 or 2 more before they quit doing more.

I just want them to bring back 1 vs 100 on Xbox Live.

I'd also like to see Twisted Metal come back. Perhaps with controls like Rocket League, but with weapons.

Swords and Serpents. I played the shit out of this game as a kid and drawing the maps on graph paper. It would have been an awesome dungeon crawler game for the NES if it wasn't for that goddamn password system.

StarFox- they’ve redone part 1 so many times. I’d like to see them do an all new adventure.
