Your favorite sword wielding transformer

    For me it's a toss up between armada Starscream and G1 Bludgeon. Starscream was this awesome sword fighter guy who on two or three occassion's tried to betray or defect from Megatron. And the end of the series we seem him having an awesome sword fight with Galvatron using the Starsaber. Bludgeon I like simply because of his design the skeleton demon samurai with samurai sword. Sadily I don't think I've seen him done justice in animated form best battle I've seen involved him taking a group of armada autobots(in the comics) singlehandedly and chopping Blurr's gun in half along with two of his fingers.

    Armada Starscream and Star Saber from Victory are my two faves. Oh! Can't forget Optimus Primal either!

    Are we talking toys or characters in the cartoon? My favorite Transformers toy that came with a sword is Grand Maximus, but he didn't have the sword in the cartoon. If that doesn't count, then I'll go with Fortress Maximus.

    I recently got hold of a used generations Springer to fix my broken one (one of the panels on the arms that go over the wheels broke) and by god I forgot how awesome he looks. so great to pose. I was actually thinking of passing on the siege Springer the generations one looks so much better

    Ironhide...with swords...

    Kidding. Grimlock is probably the first TF to come to mind when I think of sword-wielders. And, I like Grimlock, so, he gets my vote.

    I didn't even know Grimlock had a sword till I read the dreamwave war within comic (never had his original toy) until the part were he gives his sword to Optimus and orders him to "take care of Megatron"

    Fortress Maximus. Not only he's a giant robot wielding a giant sword, but the sword itself is named, is an integral part of the character (instead of Just a random weapon) and is a plot relevant element in Headmasters.
    I'm planning to watch Victory soon, so in the future Star Saber might become a worthy challenger for the spot.
