Tbf G1 never really gave anyone much personality. 95% of the cast was 'stand there and maybe say one line because their toy was on the shelves'

As a separate accessory I can see it happen. If Scrapper was made in the ROTF/HFTD era he'd probably have it attached to a missile launcher which sounds really dope

I always knew Hightower had a thumb for Devastator, but no one believed me. But after seeing that Hightower's head is on the thumb, I really wish for a video review soon.

 

All I'm gonna say is that G1 and the Bay films are both deeply flawed. The plots are equally stupid, the character development is a little better in G1 because characters other than Bumblebee and Optimus get sufficient enough screentime to establish something of a personality, and G1 has some baffling animation errors.

That said, both series have brought loads of new fans into Transformers, and there are people clamoring for new versions of characters from both series. I love Siege and Studio Series in equal measure, and if you really think Movie fans or G1 fans have it bad, think about all the new updated figures fans of Beast Wars, either RID series, Prime, Animated, and the Unicron Trilogy aren't getting. We're freaking spoiled.

Also MPM7 is a great figure and you can't change my mind.

 

Man I hope Hightower can be positioned correctly. Having the crane tower periminately facing inward would suck

 

It's facing outward tho, so that makes it even worse.

 

From the prototype, it should be the other way.

Giorno theme plays when Sideswipe chases Sideways

 

When I look at the picture of Devastator, I predict for Scavenger and Overload to form the torso, Scavenger may be the chest and shoulders and Overload forms the pelvis, abs and spine.

 

Actually credit where credit where is due, even for me and my too-high standards, Barricade is basically perfect sculpting-wise, and when he's combined with better paint, either by painting the figure yourself or being lazy and getting the Black Mamba KO, he's the only movie figure so far consider a true masterpiece; he actually feels like having the movie model in your hands, it's amazing.

Some other figures get close in certain areas, LT-02 and Jazz with their paint, Ironhide with his painting and sculpting, Bumblebee with his cuteness, but so far only ko barricade's got the true masterpiece touch for me.

The colors are my only real gripe with Barricade. What really sucks is that the BMB version is sold out everywhere.  

 

I'm still hoping one day we'll get a Barricade with accurate shoulder kibble.    

 

What would be the likeliness of a Studio Series Que?

I'm just thinking about the one I have stored away in the basement and thinking not sure if it's still in one piece.
