Got these in the mail over the week. I listen to these albums constantly, but revisiting them in a single sitting, I haven't done in a long time. I think I still prefer the original masters, but the added demos/alternate versions/un-used tracks were a nice surprise. I can't wait to see these guys live. Iced Earth/Blind Guardian/Demons and Wizards have been my favorite bands for almost 20 years now.
Love this track, especially the Pantera cover. My ex that passed loved their cover and gave me more of an appreciation for it. I actually just bought a copy of Hidden Treasures just for this song. It's always been one of my top 5 Deth tracks. Dave is too stubborn to let cancer win this fight. He's got this in the bag.

from what i understand even though it's a shitty thing to hear the prognosis is good. he has to cancel a tour but his doctors are optimistic.

Yussir, positive vibes all around. He's one of my heroes man. Wouldn't shell out 1300 bucks on one of his guitars if he wasn't. He's been a serious influence on my playing for over 10 years now.
Got both when they originally came out, not a big fan of remastered modern albums, the originals sound fine but the bonus material on Crimson King interests me.
Yeah, I still have the original releases, and they still sound better I think. No problem buying them again though for the nice artwork and the extra bits. They have my full support.
Daves drummer Nick Menza was 1 of my heros as well Charlie Benante from Anthrax. Yeah Dave having throat Cancer totally sucks as hes 1 of my heros being Megadeth. I love daves music and i wouldn't be RE-buying remastered records and track down records i don't have if i wasn't a fan. I'm a huge Megadeth fan and i support dave and hope hes cancer free ASAP cause i don't want nothing to happen to him.
if it wasn't for this page i never would have heard of these guys. i'm happy i did i really like their stuff
