How’s the playability on this guy? My son would love a Devy to go with his CW Superion.

Not really rough play, but combining, transforming, and lots of blaster noise spit.

 

Now who is going to down-size the Upgrade kit for him hmm ?

Finally received my figure today.
Looking forward to seeing if I can reproduce some of the upgrade parts for a more complete look.
Really like the fact that it scales better with the other Combiners.
The King is also now the King. Lol.

 

See I want this set because of the scale it's in and also I want my predaking to be Titan class and not the devy

The overall success of this guy has me wondering if it's worth waiting for the possibility of a future downscaled Omega Supreme. I like Titans as much as the next guy, but size being what it is and space being a constant thing to worry about...

If they'd tackle some other titans like Fort Max in the meantime, I'd probably break out the wallet.

On topic, mine is top notch, no breaks or issues; exactly as advertised (and looks great in a Siege-scaled lineup).

 

I'm going to buy a second set to keep on reserve, for repairs, customizing, etc.

 

Just got this guy today and I am very impressed! He looks great and scales really well with my Siege and Prime Wars figures! Hoping to get some weapons for the bots!

 

Success is one way of describing a ratio of 50/50 of good/bad quality control.

This ain’t exactly a 3rd party group that listens in-depth to fans. It’s a Chinese Knock off company. They took a 4 year old figure downsized it and put it in a box for A KO price and from the sounds of it KO quality.

KO companies have been doing this for 30 years plus.

This isn’t an instance like kubanbao or Wei jiang. It’s just a standard KO.

 

Other than a few pieces put in wrong, is the plastic ok? Most complaints I have heard were from backward parts, some looseness and crushed boxed and broken parts from shipping (not their fault on that one). Anything else I'm missing?

Same reason the Dinobots, G1 constructions, and the combaticons have been whored out in their color schemes for over 20 years. There are people who will buy them who don’t live and breathe transformers. They remember from nostalgia and see a cheap figure on eBay and say “I remember him, that’s a good price” 1. Confuse people in thinking it’s an actual product. Yes that still happens. Just look at KO MPs. And 2. They know that people will buy them.

kO companies have downsized figures before. Someone just posted a photo of the deluxe size fort max. They know who will buy them but it doesn’t mean they really care about things like quality control and such. I had that same fort max and he crumbled in my hand

 

He still looks taller than Bruticus in this shot.

 

Give Bruticus the PE boots and mitts and it'll be better.
