Aww! I have just started buying TFs for the first time since childhood thanks to Siege, and really want new updates in that style for some of my fave characters, like the Battlechargers and Needlenose. Seems like there are dozens of toys of folks like Starscream and Prowl, but hardly anything for later era characters.

Not interested in collecting the cards (my CCG days of youth are well and truly behind me, as much as I loved and breathed Decipher's Star Wars game back in the day) but absolutely love some of the art on these cards. Better than a lot of recent actual comics, IMO, and much preferred by me than, say, the more "gritty" and cgi-style of other TF CCGs I've seen.

 

I like the +3 weapon but no pips make it interesting.

Also, they say these are the last cards but I'm missing 006 and 007 from my list.

 

My uneducated and possibly misguided opinion follows:

Ultramagnus, Shockwave, Cog, Megatron, Alphatrion, Elita1, Are the greatest from this wave.
Honorable mention to Needle Nose, Ironhide and...possibly Hound

Firecons as a team look plain fun.

Many of them make me wish I had Wave 1 Super Rares, such as:
Captain Shockwave (paired with Shockwave),
Alphatrion (paired with Legendary Prime)
Elita 1(paired with Legendary Prime)

Shockwave decks look set to dominate decks that don't include Ironhide, Ultramagnus + UM armor, Defensive driving

I was hoping to see:
Siege Jetfire, Springer, and Sixshot.
A more intimidating Prime (I missed Legendary Prime)
My guess is well see those guys in Wave 2... Though I'm betting Prime might be similar to Magnus...Upgrade Prime.

I'll buy a box.

 

I do believe you can get Shockwave and Prime from Wave 1 for much cheaper than they were going for. Or just take a shot and buy a box?

Went out and brought up all the packs from three Walmart’s locally. Oops. Sorry guys. That was me. Got all the playing cards but missing all the super rares and 5 rare still. Got two starsscreams, iron hide and forgot the last rare I got. Time to shop at target and empty them out. Love this game. Missing only the sdcc playing cards but will bid for those too. Everything else I have since the start of this game. 

 

I wonder if my Walmarts are going to switch out the wave 2 packs that are still sitting there

 

Is there a reason you bought individual packs rather than ordering boxes? It would be cheaper no?

 

I do both. I have a box ordered but I had some gift cards from my birthday in April I didn’t use

 

also I have found maybe my luck it’s easier get rare and super rare cards. I have done that for the first two waves

 

Both my local gaming stores arent getting the wave in until next week, do you folks think I should check target/walmart?

Yeah it seems like the shipping to my area got delayed or something. Owner at one checked the tracking and they said the cards won't be in until next week, and the employee at the other was unloading their new stock and there was nothing from WOTC.
