I've seen all 6 on Taobao. Not a lot of sellers sell them though, but that's maybe my poor search string :D

Looking forward to a yellow if they do one, as per their initial pics before they went quiet (probably over the Gundam saga). I also wonder if the Daban would fit the GT add on kit

They seem to be yes :

    Transformer Daban Model-01.jpg

    About $35.00 each on eBay.
You'd have to ask the Taobao users how that compares to the local Chinese price though.

I'd guesstimate about $28 AUD each shipped. This is based on the rate to ship to Australia and it weighing no more than 1KG.

It'll be give / take a few AUD $1's for shipping to the US is guess.

With $35 USD being $50 AUD, the saving could be significant over 6 bots, going the Taobao route.

2 Daban figures costs about the same price for a complete NBK, figure only and no shipping. So there's that perspective also. I'd assume Daban would weigh more too so cost to ship could be higher over NBK

I got my NBK KO Gravity Builder from eBay today, woohoo! I opened the box just to take a peek, and the forearm part that has the hand is freaking huge, bigger than I was expecting. The hand itself is balljointed, and has the exact same knuckles as a real human hand. It also includes individual guns for each Constructicon. Most of the guns have folding or collapsing barrels, folding handles, or both. I didn't realize those came with this set.

I've trimmed the flash from the alt modes, next I'll go to individual robot modes and trim more flash. I also took the beads out of the cement mixer drum, yikes. I'll get more pics and my impressions later.

One last thing- the front-end loader, Scrapper I guess, has "NIMBLE AND BRAVE KNIGHTS" printed on each of his wheels, the gray centers. I can't say I remember seeing that before. I'm getting up there though, so maybe I can't remember.

I had no idea that's what NBK stood for, Nimble Brave Knights. *shrug* *gets alcohol*

So price wise then the shipping is a fair chunk of the difference - I guess one can factor in middle-man fees and reposting and say the chinese shipping to china and then on to elsewhere - is always going to cost me more unless I'm buying some huge box full.

I did some asking around of the usual suspects and see if they can get them as the person selling them at the moment isn't ideal or me, The typical discount I get on a cashback offer is $3.50, $5.00 or £2.50 or £3.00 depending on the offer. So I might be able to get that off individually next month potentially. Or I can see if HZJ get them as a loose set. $35.00 + some sort of discount on top is a fair enough price.

Internal sending within China is pretty cheap, and often free. So the difference is mainly the international shipping. Even then, it still ends up cheaper. At least for those of us in Australia

This and the fact that taobao does not charge 10% gst.

I just don't understand why these KO folks love to produce the same figures over and over again... all the effort for a market that would have already bought an earlier KO version of the same thing (albeit with some differences).
At least work on different colors like Diaclone, etc.

I love this- it looks like NBK's KO might scale well with the Studio Series Constructicons:

    IMG_20190621_172903263.jpg IMG_20190621_172839094.jpg IMG_20190621_172758460.jpg IMG_20190621_172741051.jpg

Studio Series Scrapmetal here is a little small, but not IMO out of scale.

Well I have to be mindful of Parcel Clearance Fees and Import Duty - that is why It's not practical to buy from BBTS for example for those in the UK. Consolidation from China might work out for me and i'd never rule it out - but so far the difference between what beneft I get from ebay with vouchers and the like makes the difference inconsequential. I might split the difference and try Aliexpress sometime - but I need to figure out the message system on that site first or find a seller I already have a relationship with on ebay - I do need to get an NBK Megatron and some more TFC Targetroids sometime so It's something I want to look into eventually, As there are lots of things ebay doesn have like certain Junkion Blacksmith items.

Deban might do well with a copy of the GT Black version. as that would have the appeal of matching Nero Rex, & The Black Seacons. That was why I was liking the novelty of the all Red Defensor CBB (or whoever) is making.

I got him combined tonight, and... wow. I'm speechless.

    IMG_20190621_223816111.jpg

He's brilliant, super-detailed, and gorgeous. I tightened a few joints, notably the shoulders, and he stands like a champ. He's definitely top-heavy, and sways a bit when you stand him up, but he's pretty solid overall.

    More pics later, better ones.

I just scored a full set of a seller from reddit for $65.00 + 15.00 S/H that should be arriving today. Even if it's half as beautiful as yours turned out, I'll be super-pleased. I've been wanting to replace my CW Devastator for the longest time now.

That Image reminds me of how I've been collecting bits of Movie Devastator at car bootsales - I have just one arm to get now.

I did some asking around and it seems some places had trouble getting the stock of the last 2 Dabans so when they get them the set of 6 should be a lot more common to find - later this month.
