Bandai Reissue 1/55 VF-1S Hikaru with Super Parts Sentinel Re:Edit Hulkbuster Shogun Warriors Great Mazinger Either my Vintage Gatchaman Firebird 2 or the new ET Firebird (I haven’t opened the new one yet to know for sure) MX-I Megatron G.I. Joe W.H.A.L.E. And because I have to cheat to get my Star Wars fix in: Legacy Collection Millennium Falcon Original Trilogy Collection Slave I Hot Toys Deluxe ROTJ Boba Fett Kenner original Boba Fett And wth, original V2 Snake Eyes
Darn, it’s a very tough question...my younger kid just asked me this last week! It will be: 1. MOTU Classics He-man 2. MOTU Classics Skeletor 3. MP-10 Optimus (will be replaced by MP-44) 4. MP-36 Megatron 5. Hasbro Face-off Hulk (will be replaced by the new Hulk) Tbh it’s very hard but any of the above can be replaced by Hasbro Marvel Legends Silver Surfer, SHM Rebirth Goji, SHM King Ghidorah, Hasbro 40th anniversary Darth Vader, SHF ROTJ Luke Skywalker!
1. SHF Iron Man MK.50 2. SHF Endgame Thanos 3. WFC:S: Optimus Prime 4. Studio Series Cogman 5. Masterpiece Artfire
Is go with the ones I had the most fun with as a kid: 1. Gi Joe Free Fall 2. Transformers Stranglehold 3. MOTU Rio Blast 4. C.O.P.S Taser 5. Ewoks Logray
They would all have to be toys I've had since childhood. These guys have survived this long with me that I could never let them go: G1 Ironhide G1 Siren G1 Powermaster OP Matchbox Lion Voltron G1 Tote (yeah...I know...but he's one of the few figures I ever received from my Mom...him and Siren)
-Kenner Combat Belt Batman -LEGO Ewok Village -GX-71 Voltron -Kenner ROTJ Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight -1993 MMPR Megazord
1 through 3 is exactly what I would pick, but 4 would be replaced by MP-13 Soundwave, then 5 would be between the following: a) SOC Voltron, b) SHF Darth Vader, c) NECA movie Michaelangelo, or d) DC Universe Classics Azrael Batman.
1. Galaxy Convoy 2. Mezco One:12 Collective Deadpool 3. MG Nu Gundam Ver. Ka 4. Lego 20th Anniversary Slave I 5. Black Series ESB Han Solo I tried to include one from each franchise I actively follow.
1) Volks Variable Box SRX 2) Max Factory Max Gokin Godannar Twin Drive Mode 3) Bandai Complete Selection Modification Faiz Gear (was a tough choice between this and the CSM DecaDriver) 4) Bandai Metal Build 00 Gundam Seven Swords + O-Raiser + GN Sword II Blaster (I may like other Metal Builds individually more, but this one's pimped out just the way I like it) 5) Hot Toys MMS197 D02 Iron Man Mk.XLII (another tough choice between this and Hot Toys Robocop)
My 5 changes all the time. Not just for the newest stuff I happen to get but just depending on whatever kick I'm on. I'm inconsistent. Sometimes I'll find a new appreciation for a figure I've had for a while and in that moment it's my favorite. Too hard to choose.
my fav 5 ever. 1/55 VF1S Bandai 1991? Optimus Prime Hasbro G1 1984 Lone Ranger w/Silver Gabriel 1973 Luke Farmboy Kenner 1977 Batman 12 inch Mego w/magnetic hands 1978 Batman Mego
1) MP-01, the greatest figure of all time. MP-10/44 can get bent. 2) v1.5 swivel-arm Snake Eyes. To this day, every other 4" figure ever produced wishes they were this cool. 3) G1 Jetfire - most poseable G1 TF, and by far the most fun to transform. 4) GIJoe WHALE - a vehicle and playset all rolled into one. Plus it could float. 5) Castle Greyskull - this was used as a base by EVERYONE. Cobra, Decepticons, the Empire... they all hung out in that badass castle more than Skeletor. I still have mine! He spent half my childhood swinging from the legs of my mom's metal bar stools The glue holding the bat logo on his chest long since gave up the ghost, but he hangs in my garage, clinging to the side of my large craftsman tool chest. I give him a knowing nod every morning. I had magnetic Robin too, but I recall breaking one of his legs at the knee. Now that I think about it, I had multiple regular 8" Mego Robin figures that met a similar fate. Something about those weak Robin knees.
Galaxy Convoy MP-01 Convoy G1 Jetfire - My only link to Macross Kamen Rider Den-O Driver I love the sounds. MP Soundwave
Not knocking you but genuinely curious, what about MP-01 makes you like it so much? Aesthetics? Nostalgia? Transformation?
I agree about MP-01 (over MP-10 for sure, will see about MP-44). The built in gimmicks, size, look, materials, price, transformation...all better to me. A true Masterpiece! All the other "MP"s that came after paled in comparison and I never even bothered with them until MP-13 Soundwave. And all the other "MP"s after Soundwave were pretty weak too until Shockwave and Sunstreaker came out. These new ones seem to have stepped up the game significantly so will see with MP-44 and the rest.
MP Prowl Super Powers Green Lantern Ultimate V2 Snake eyes from the retaliation line. G1 Optimus or MP01 Optimus. I'm can't really decide here. BS Episode IV Darth Vader Five is way too small a number given the many lines and nostalgic connections to them all. Edit: Are vehicles and Plat sets back doors into getting more figures cause you can't have the whale without pilots and gunners or Grayskull without He-man and Battle Cat.
I would say whatever comes in the box counts as one toy. Also, surprised no one has selected it yet but a videogame console allows for the selection of one game, too
Personally I think MAS-01 is better than all of them. I'm partial to Transformers that don't transform. I feel like the transforming gimmick ruins the bot mode almost always. I'm cool with just the idea that it transforms in the fiction. I've gotten plenty of GTFO replies to that statement here though.
