FT-24 Rogue is my favorite third party figure. She inspired me to actually start collecting Masterpiece-scale figures.

If IT-01 Megatron counts as a third party figure, then put him down as my #2, but I don't think he's really what this thread is about.

Yes all opinions matter and if you think he’s good quality who gives a damn what company makes him.

I hear a lot of people say good things about him I have the weijiang os megatron

I don't have the Weijang Megatron, but I can say that IT-01 is significantly better quality than THF's Dynastron. It's not even close (and I liked my Dynastron when I got him last month). I'm going to pick up a second IT-01 as soon as I can to replace my THF and just have IT-01s.

IT-01 is just a very solid figure.

You must not have a lot of 3P. I'd have to venture into dollar store KO territory to think of something with worse quality.

My current fave is TE-01. It hits all the marks - accuracy, quality, fun to mess with, and just looks awesome.

May I know what are the differences between dynastron and IT megs? I'm debating on which one to get and I'm leaning towards Dynastron solely for the fact that he has the additional g1 toy chest piece and head. I can deal with the back kibble and lack of cover tho.

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I am keeping Maketoys GunDog and passing on the MP Hound.

Hound is A-List to me, with the first three episodes of the TV show having the most exposure and impact on me. But I am one of those guys - I don't want my toys to look like the TV show. GunDog is a great toy, taken on his own for what he is. I love the way it looks, which seems to suit Hound. I prefer the way his legs are done, more like the G1 toy. I adore the way it is produced - Maketoys is really great at that. GunDog isn't going anywhere.

I am interested in the MP Hound mold, because I have Sunstreaker and I know the level of Takara's work is off the charts. So I want to futz with it, but at the end of the day, I like GunDog's looks better, and I already have GunDog.

When you respond with "it's not as bad as everyone made it out to be" it doesn't really come off as sarcasm. Who knows, someone might actually love that turd.

People over the years actually claimed it's the worst and I disagree with that.

I have too much time on MY hands? I'm not the one repeatedly trying to analyze whether or not I understood a bit of sarcasm.

I missed the sarcasm the first time. You solved the mystery, yay.

Just wanted to say I originally said Feral Rex,GP Guttur and I still stand by those figures but I totally forgot how awesome MMC Talon was as a stand alone figure. This was what got me really into 3rd Party as for me he's just perfect in design, transformation and Fun as hell to pose. Just got him out my storage earlier and found myself messing with him for almost a couple hours lol. IMG_20190624_142651.jpg IMG_20190624_142517.jpg IMG_20190624_142436.jpg
(And YES. I have the original Talon in G1 Colors)
