I meant with all the remolding and new characters made so far .. it would be very quick and simple for Takara to make a new Liokaiser set featuring retooled Silverbolt.

How is that situation any different than what Hasbro did?
How do you know they would've picked the Silverbolt mold and not Sky Lynx?
You give Takara a bit too much credit.

Even if they had done a headswap with Silverbolt to make Leozak it would still have eliminated a member of the team unless you were content with someone being a gun.

They’ve already used the Silverbolt mold a few times. They probably went with a Sky Lynx because they had yet to repaint him.

It would have been better than eliminating two members of the team.
They aren't oblidged to use every mold more than once are they?
Retooling Silverbolt would have been more expensive than repainting Sky Lynx. But it doesn't really matter which mold they re-use to save money I think.

Hasbro has not made or designed a single MP toy since 2004. Fact.
Takara has made so many awsesome changes new molds and retools more than Hasbro and yet you dont bother to give any credit to them? Wow.

I'm sorry. I wasn't aware we were talking about the MP figures.
And where the hell did you get that BS idea?
There are plenty of Takara release I like.
Even recent ones like Star Convoy!

What happened to yours? I've had mine and I haven't noticed any issues. But he's been in combined form for a long time now.

skylynx got a new head for his "robot" mode, so he had retooling as well

ive not owned the uw motormaster, but there are reports of him crumbling at the waist in a manner very similar to gps (caused primarily by the swirly metallic flakes in the plastic not properly bonding to the plastic rather than it being caused specifically by gold plastic)

Thanks. I'll have to keep an eye out on mine. I wonder if it's an internal part that can be replaced with the CW version or something visible?

I want to reserve judgement until I have the first release in hand, but based on these pictures it seems like Takara is giving this set an extra touch of refinement (e.g. compared to Takara’s last exclusive Big Powered). I’m really looking forward to seeing the progress on this set at summer Wonderfest.

I'm confused by this assertion, since Sky Lynx was, in fact, retooled to create Desarus, not just repainted.

    That's because I don't know, since I don't own Hasbro Liokaiser ;)
If that is the case it wouldn't have made a difference whether they used Sky Lynx or Silverbolt at all.

It isn't, the breakage point is part of the main torso that goes into the waist.

I mean, in one hand. The Silverbolt mold gotten retooled like... 2 times. Once for Cyclonus, and then to Scatorshot. I think they planned Dezaras to be an Skylynx retool due to the torso being it's main priority, if they gone with the Silverbolt mold, they still have to nix Jallguar from the team due to not having a base legends mold for him unless they make him an alternative limb. And the torso mode wouldn't be as accurate.

Which makes me wonder, If Onslaught has an Alt. Demolishor pre-tool head, makes me wonder what pretooled heads Silverbolt & Cyclonus would be?
