I honestly don't care for the weaponizer gimmick. Especially since a lot of it looks like you're just putting a bot's leg on a regular Bot or Con's shoulder and pretending it's a gun. To me, Sixgun, Brunt and Cog are just the missing figures that should've come with Metroplex, Trypticon and Fort Maxx. And that's the only reason I bought them.

Now if they gave characters like The Quintessons gimmicks like these and they worked I'd be all for it. Those PotP mini's or those backpack pouch gimmicks that came with combiners were all forgettable IMO.

I’m the opposite. I have no attachment to them as characters but enjoy them as Weaponizers.

 

I thought the TR Galvatron would be the definitive version for me (even while already owning Mania King...) The custom head Venksta made was impressive, with light piping and swappable faces, but at $50 and an 18 month wait, I was pretty much over it by the time I got my Galvatron finished. I never expected a proper Reflector from HasTak considering the necessity of selling 3 identical figures to make up one alt mode... WFC Siege has shown that they could pull it off. I do feel there is a missed opportunity on not giving Refraktor a post for bots to stand on his "ship" mode like slide, a la Shockwave's bits or Sixgun. I actually bought the PE Reflector set (in the color variant) and then the Papa Toys upsized KO, which had nice improvements. I still think that is a cooler set than WFC Refraktor, but I can't argue that HasTak nailed them with this figure.

I considered those mods, and they look fine, from the front, but I opted to go the more expensive route. I am passed regret on that decision.

I was hinting that maybe he got busted or lost his source. Too subtle I guess? Now how did Optibotimus get Jetfire so dang early..... He was very appreciative to his patrons for it making me think he overpaid horribly, probably from a factory thief, to not be too blunt. (Does anyone else think it's bad where he has to get donations to do these "early reviews"?)

I didn't even think of that but you're so right.

I saw it more like a video game scene, like he had been dropped off in the middle of a battle with only his axe, and then slowly gathered a heavy arsenal the more enemies he defeated (or allies he lost, as with Brawn's roof).

 

Just need the third one to complete my set. For now enjoying having the two~

 

I am not surprised with how much fun folks are having with Reflector. Can’t wait to get my hands on a trio.

 

Yeah. Perfect effect reflector from 2011(I think) transformed almost identical. The head’s didn’t flip down but yeah you fold his legs into his arms. Just look up theirs. You’ll see some coincidences that raise an eyebrow lol

yea i think on average season 3 guys ran a tad bit bigger than others in animaiton, though that frame has kup as too big. i believe that is rodimus prime (springers ugly face says its s3 and not the movie)

Oh yeah, I guess they do don't they. I even own those and the Papa Toys OSKO, haha. The PE does it slightly differently (shoulder flips down to the midsection and really only the forearm ends up inside the leg), but yeah the overall concept is the same.
