I went to a walmart this morning. i found out they opened before 8.. i thought they opened before 8.

so even if they had them.. it would suck to think they were gone.. but i'm not going to worry.. there isn't even a sighting of it yet.

oh yea.. and i saw a few guys carrying out DVD with smiles on their faces. was there a sale i didn't know about?!??!?!

 

There's a Walmart in San Clemente, on Ave Pico I believe.

I hope there's people here checking Frank and Sons weekly; it should be a good measure of whether or not MP SS's here yet.

 

Apparently some Wally's are selling DVD Prime for cheap in the clearance section in some places (not mine of course)

Yeah I found out after the fact that at 8am this morning they were selling $99 HDDVD Players.

BTW No AZ Sightings yet (Damnit) I hope like hell they are out before I leave for my Vacation out there in 2 weeks.

 

Yeah... Toshiba is doing a last-ditch effort to try to hoodwink the public into thinking HD-DVD will be viable in the long run... what it is actually doing is cementing HD-DVD's doom. Selling players below cost this early makes other possible hardware developers think twice about making a player, since there is no $ in it.

Also, since Blu Ray will be releasing Cars, Ratatoille, and a ton of other Disney and Pixar movies over the next few months, Blu Ray has cemented it's dominance.

FC TRU most deluxe were gone..., 1 optimus left in a bit beat up box.
The rest still remain... and everytime I see those Titanium dual pack, I can't help but to curse why the heck Hasbro produced so many WarWithin Optimus but where is my G1 Ultra Magnus!!

yeah... all those sweet looking Dropkicks are still there... I am just guessing.. is it because of that ugly picture in the back of the card and it just couldn't please any children ? well, I am looking at my Dropkick and the back of the card... hmmm indeed that picture looks really ugly.... The real figure is much much better...
But I am not complaining here... I am just hoping the day the deluxe on sales I might just head over there and grab them all to build an army...

 

just got back from the Antelope Road Super Walmart (sacramento) and nothing new on the Starscream front, but LOTS of the Robot Heroes, FAB, a good dozen + of the 20th Anniv Primes, Ult Bumblebee, and more.

However, if any of you fellow nerds are into Spider-Man, there are TONS of new Spidey 3 toys out there, including new limited editions and exclusives.

 

According to the main MP SS thread, rumor is we might be seeing these with the big resets this weekend. I'm gonna keep on the lookout for them on Sunday.

Tonight I learned the true impact of a scalper.

I was at LBC 24hr Wallyworld 1:00am tonight.

I saw the stock lady cutting open Deluxes tonight...i got all excited. Once I spoke to her she wouldn't stop...but it was insightful.

Someone 1 hour prior had purchased 8 cases. But not just any cases...he began going through her pallet before she even had the chance. He mixed and matched until his 8 cases only consisted of BBs, Barricades, and (strangely)Bonecrushers. That was their pre-xmas shipment of BB. gone b4 it hit the shelves.

"All the kids are screwed with Swindle now"...her quote not mine lol

She also informed me that you can find out when they're shipping in on the interwebnets? I personally didn't know that. She said that guy is the same person who buys the entire shipment of 25th GI Joes before they hit the rack.

Whoever he is...Id bet the $1,000 he spent on BBs tonight hes a member of this board.

I was just there last night at 2:00am. It's the older blonde lady right? She's pretty nice. I was there hoping to find some MP SS but no luck.  

 

Well, I'm canvassing all of Sacramento, so if I spot MP Screamer, I'll do what I can for others in the area.

As for scalpers buying all the concept BB... explains why I've never seen a single one in town. Hope I get to MP Screamer before they do. I've been harassing both store customer service as well as emailing corporate customer service at walmart trying to get a fix on when/where MP Screamer will hit, with mixed results.

sad that Walmart will limit purchases of DVDs, but you can scalp kids' xmas gifts.... saaaad.
