Also, doomsayers, but one reason all the pretenders are so hard to remember is because they didn't get past the concept stage, let alone as far as the DCEU or Universal. Any fans of the Hasbro Cinematic Universe in here? Think I was actually following the Micronauts news at the time... Hey is it ok for the Micronauts Wikipedia page to spoil Endgame yet? Think Sony want a Spider-less verse and there was a recent report of Fant4stic X-Men Civil War. Also dead. Feel like there were others, but again, 'Random Press Release (2017)' doesn't quite hold up to 'Iron Man (2008)'.
As if the movie wasn't long enough, but what else could be added? Banner and Hulk coming to terms and showing us how they merged to Smart Hulk? Because that's one thing I've wanted to see.
Oh it WILL knock out Avatar now. On a bad day, they'll still make over $50 Million at least with a re-release like this. Well played, Fiege. I knew you guys weren't gonna throw your arms up in the air this close to taking #1. * Though I find it weird that this re-release is apparently happening next weekend but we're only sort of hearing about it today. That marketing push better be balls to the wall starting now.
So this is a dumb question and probably covered a million times, but I thought I would ask here (Kinda spoilers if you didn't see any of the Spider-man FFH trailers) Are we assuming that Ned, MJ, Flash AND Peter were all dusted and just came back 5 years later being the same age? OR did Hulk's snap just make everyone the age that they were before the snap? However then Cassie would be a little girl again, but Tony's daughter would be... well, wouldn't have been born. Are all the survivors just going to be 5 years older?
The difference is, unlike Avatar, this DESERVES to be number one. Question is, it’s a lock to pass it, but will it do the impossible and hit $3 billion?
Supposedly the 'official' answer as compiled from the Russo's and the writers in various interviews is that Peter, Ned and everyone else that were snapped stayed the same age they were during their 5 year absence while everyone else did indeed age 5 years and subsequently move on (ie: allegedly graduated high school and whatnot). * I guess that makes sense, but the problem I have with that answer (along with every other answer they give about this sort of thing) is that they keep implying that world still moved along as normal despite half the population aka BILLIONS of people instantly vanishing. The last thing that would ever happen is people going about things like normal. There would be no school, there would be no food, there would be no travel, there wouldn't even be little support groups w/ coffee & donuts for Cap to hang out at... more people would be dying by the umpteen thousands because of the lack of doctors, scientists, farmers, even pest control, sanitation, etc etc etc. But of all the things that keep getting addressed by this movie's snap-back and time travel, those fun facts are never addressed.
It’ll probably be a fun extra scene, not something pivotal to the canon. And of course the Stan Lee tribute will be lovely. The extra “surprises” who knows
I don't know... I'm not convinced the tribute he mentions will actually be to Stan Lee. I could see it being either some sort of montage to the 22 movie Infinity Saga as a whole, or specifically to RDJ because of starting the entire thing. No disrespect meant towards Stan Lee, but I think we've all seen more than enough of them at this point.
