Last year, SDCC introduced a lottery system where you sign up for which brands you wanna buy exclusives from (for example, signing up for separate raffles for Lego, Hasbro, funko, etc.). They're most likely opening that lottery by the end of the month.

 

After said lottery is finished, make sure you know which booth sells which exclusive. Some Hasbro exclusives are sold at the EE both (though EE exclusives are typically much easier to get) but the bulk of them are sold at the Hasbro booth. I was told that the lottery system actually made purchasing the toys easier and less stressful. If I ever remembered to buy tickets when they went up I would have just gone myself and picked up a few sets to see this in action, but I keep forgetting. Hopefully you'll have no problem getting what you want.

A Possible botbots related SDCC Exclusive?

As was what else was on the shipment transformers wise, MP-10G (labeled Tra Masterpiece SDCC) was and so was Selects Redwing. Sadly there was nothing on there referring to a WFC related SDCC exclusive. That doesn't mean there won't be one I just couldn't find one, but I guess time will tell.
I'm curious to see what this Botbots thing turns out to be if it is a SDCC exclusive.

Normally they're sold at the EE (entertainment earth) both and/or the Hasbro booth.

To add on, I was able to get into Hasbro's booth by around 3-4pm on a Thursday last year, because the line dies down considerably around that hour.

 

Isn’t that from the Asia release? Or something else.

They got 100 figures before it shipped elsewhere. That’s barely a release.

true, but it wasnt flagged as an sdcc exclusive or anything like that, which means the liklihood of it being an sdcc exclusive is slim. it might get officially announced there, but it wont be one of the exclusives (like grotusque and arcee)

 

Well not all of it is unless, you want to set up a $300 account. People who use these applications aren't usually using it to look up toy shipments (like my weird self  ).

The Arcade Renegades has a different product code being E5362, so what ever this "SDCC' thing is, is most likely different.

 

I'm not sure if that makes it better or worse...
