In their defense sort of* , they did have their own original headsculpt which ... was something . And it’s only one of the 2 headsculpts with that seamline added along the headcrest . Which isn’t a totally rip/knock off

Do you remember the gallons and gallons of people who rejected SS-18 because it had door wings? There'll be plenty of market for a new deluxe.

This is easily the best VW Bee out there. I'm not fond of them just straight up duplicating the head and fender/chest pieces from the MPM, since there was room to be improved there, but everything else is pretty fucking great and it hardly pulls the figure down overall.

Not what I was hoping for in TE's second release, but this looks good.

Not getting it despite pre-ordering TW's BB Prime. Just not a fan of Bay Bumblebee.

Well the bumblebee wars have begun. Wonder if Toyworld is going to throw their hat in too.

3A wins clearly if you don't want it to transforms. I am leaning towards Zeta since I want my transformers to transform.

Also thought we might be looking at the first movieverse legends scaled figure.

I wouldn't call this a war just yet. There's three different scales in your comparison.

TE's the only one that's chubby enough! He looks the best to me so far.

If that is a legends figure, that is super impressive. As to scale Toyworlds Prime will probably dictate all my purchases.

This really looks like what a more accurate official Studio Series figure would look like.

Nah, screw that. I'm not interested in buying anything Takara because they ripped off their alt mode designs from the automotive companies back in the early 80's: Licensed vehicle alternate modes - Transformers Wiki
"Even though the original Generation 1 Autobot Cars released in 1984 and 1985, just like their Diaclone predecessors, were closely based on existing car models, none of them were officially licensed. In some instances, sponsor decals of racing cars were slightly altered ("Gitanes" becoming "Citanes", "Martini" becoming "Martinii", "Alitalia" becoming "Alitalla" etc.) in order to avoid legal trouble with those companies." - TFWiki

Oh please let this little guy be Studio Series scale... And yes, I’m calling it little as well. A lot of things are giving away the scale here. The peg hole hands, the size of the screws, the fact that he’s so chonky(Transform element have proven they know how to hide kibble). This is definitely looking to be the smallest 3rd party movie bee. Hopefully it can replace the Studio Series.

Yeah, looks like he's either CHUG or Legends scaled. If they had went for an MP scaled Bee with this engineering, I think he'd look more slim and be the best looking overall since the smaller scale limits the design. I have 3A DLX Bumblebee and MPM-7 transformed into VW. They both display nicely. But the alt-mode for this one seems the most accurate out of the 3P offerings. Shame it's not MP scale, judging from TE's Beast wars Black Arachnia and Rattrap.

Huh. A legends scale movie Bumblebee. Neat! I wonder if TE is going all in with legends then - they're already doing Rattrap and Blackarachnia (unless I'm missing them up with another company).

This is smart for a few reasons. Legends are very popular right now. Probably even more than mp. Less plastic and fewer parts means cheaper production and they can crank out more figures over a shorter time frame (just look at how many releases Newage has had in just a few months). There's already several competing in the MP space while they'll be the only one in legends (so far.)

    Looking forward to seeing/hearing more.

[Edit] How is this TE-02 if this it's their third legends figure announced and fourth overall? Is that the number they've actually given it or was it just a guess?
