Hm MP Optimus Primal is around 130€, I'd be fine to pay that. Although I'd like it to cost less.

Just did a quick Google search. 90€ would be more in the league what I would pay for this Lio Convoy. Still hope they one day make a Zoid version for Generations. Hopefully not while they still do this battle damage shit. For Generations I'd rather have him as a Deluxe.

Well INLFATION is a VERY REAL economic law, that virtually affects EVERYTHING PRODUCED. Why would imported JP toys be any different?

 

Inflation doesn't jump that fast? You should talk to someone growing up in the 70's in USA LMAO. Yes inflation does jump that fast. Also this never ending argument by those select few complainers, this is a culture thing. JP usual price NECESSITIES low and material desires or hobbies are priced higher and its like this on product everywhere in JP. Not just toys. But toys that are marked to adult collectors will always be high.

 

True. We have to hope they say no too. I'm choosing not to buy as many MPs becuase I don't think they are worth what they are charging...if that sends message to TT great, if not...fine.

These price increases cannot be explained by inflation alone....and even if they could what does it matter? The fact remains prices have steeply increased(way above the rate of inflation) over the past three year and that has an affect on use as collectors. What we do about it is our own choice to make.

 

Unfortunately we cannot continue to export and take advantage of cheap almost slave labor from Southeast Asia. Another reason price has increased. Labor has increased. We cannot continue to be on the moral high ground when people are making our useless toys and nikes for pennies on the dollar. Why does this bullshit need to be spelled out for you every time you complain about pricing on virtually EVERY MP thread. This is why I have continued to ignore you(and my TFW experience is better for it), I had an itch you were responded to me so I had to un-hide and see....and yes I was right.

I would say that Takara is upping the price to increase profits, I don't think it has much to do with labor costs.
