Yes, I would also have ordered without a 2nd thought given that it is coming in a couple of months and sold out everywhere. For GX88, there are other options. I understand the logic of pricing $10 higher but honestly am a little bit disappointed about that. In any case, you are right that it evens out with the reward points. Just as I was afraid of. I missed it again. Saw the TCP 3PM time for today, by the time I could get to my locker, get my phone and online I see it sold out. This sucks the fun out of collecting anything anymore. To top it off, the new job sucks, too. This day has been a total loss for me. Hope ya'll enjoy your Voltrons.

Yes but: - TCP would've been less $$$ - TCP is far more reliable than EKnight - The reports of EKnight cancelling preorders on people does not inspire confidence - I'd rather go with TCP every day, all day, and twice on Sundays over a site there has mixed feedback. - Same goes for GameStop. They've screwed people out of orders before. If this was some < $100 item, I would not be so concerned. But I am very picky with whom I would trust in terms of reliability, service, price, and business practices when it comes to high-dollar items. And for me, $300+ is what I consider a high-dollar item in the realm of toys & pop culture collectibles. Some may not care where they can get it as long as they can get it. But I'm just not that kind of animal. When I got GX-71 from BBTS, it was damaged. The torso looked like Wolverine went to town on the silver paint. BBTS did not have any to exchange with, but they gave me a full refund with 0 hassle. Package arrived in perfect condition at least. Can I expect that with EKnight or GameStop? I don't know. Never ordered anything from them. DX9 Mightron I got from TCP arrived way back when with a scratched chest. They called me and he sent me another one without hesitation. No questions asked. At the same time, TFSource screwed me over twice. Their emails were cold and they may as well have just written "Tough luck bud".I can't help but feel the way I do after such experiences. It's my fault for being this way. I'll accept that.
Yeesh. Well, I have high hopes that EKnight won't cancel this time because I somehow reread that info from a member contacting them and verifying they have enough stock.
I hope EKnight doesn't cancel their orders on anyone as well. THey're all I got at this point. Unlike GameStop, EKnight isn't charging me any tax. So that's a plus. I've had a very rough day today and the past week wasn't any much better. So that may very well play a role in how I'm feeling. I never had a Vehicle Voltron/Dairugger before. I hope GX-88 is made as good as he looks. It would be one of my favorite pieces in all of my collection.
Yea I never had got Vehicle Voltron either. Always wanted one as a kid but never had enough money to get it so I've been extra focused on getting one to check it off the list. Will probably be the last SOC I purchase.
Options? Maybe, maybe not. The big issue is I don't trust Bandai, therefore nobody (not even TCP/BBTS) since they can't control the situation and are at the mercy of Bandai, and certain stores even less (Amazon/GS/EE/Dorkside/etc). So placing some extra preorders. If I end up buying 2-3 of both Lion and Vehicle, then I'll have to deal with that later. But I'd rather end up with doubles than nothing. SoC is a one-time splurge for me, insane prices for figures, and the only reason I did it was to get both Lion and Vehicle. If I don't get both, then it was a wasted effort. If the figure doesn't arrive by 12/16/19, Paypal will let me dispute the transaction. So there's also that.
Yeah, I basically did the same thing were I preordered from a few place. Little unhappy that TCP is $10 higher than everyone else, but what can you do. I ended up getting a pre-order at Amazon, TCP, and BBTS. Was planning on only getting two, but I'll just sell the third one at cost, if one of the pre-orders doesn't get dropped.
Did the box set get that low? I picked up most of them at Ollies for $7 but the box set came and went pretty quickly.
