Not a fan of Warpath? Wow, I'm kind of surprised. I thought he was the standout in this set (though I also really like Huffer). He's not super poseable, but he's got a lot of weight and charm in both modes, I find.

With Huffer, I strongly suggest sanding down the top of his internal head peg by maybe half a centimeter (or whatever weird fraction of an inch you Americans use  ) so his helmet lines up with his face better. I posted before/after pics somewhere, but I forget now. Big improvement.

Brawn I'm only okay with. You can still get good poses out of him, and he looks good, but he's no fun to transform, and he's got the most loose bits. But then, for the price, he's the still best G1 Brawn we have... for whatever that's worth.

The only thing that really throws this set off for me are the hands - Get on it KFC!!!

    I really like them otherwise.

Yeah, I was expecting to like Warpath more than I do but the inability to move his legs forward because of the hip skirts is kinda off putting. Plus I don't care for his feet. When I move a leg back, the feet don't swivel up, and there becomes a weight issue that topples the figure over.

    He's growing on me tho.

The tank mode is pretty charming. Solid and weighty, but also kind of adorable.

Wait, you can't move the legs because of the hip skirts? Or you just don't like the way it looks with the whole crotch plate flipped up? I mean, it is too bad the crotch-plate isn't separated in two.

I don't seem to have the issue with moving his legs back. I find that he has enough of an angled "toe" that he can still stand quite securely (in fact, you can even sort of get him to stand on tiptoes). Maybe I'm not picturing exactly the pose you're going for.

He's chunky enough that he doesn't seem to pose naturally, even though he's got all the necessary joints. Also, I find his shoulder hinges are a bit weak... meanwhile all of his other joints are agonizingly stiff (and squeaky).

TF-Direct had them for $69 in April. They are around $80 shipped on eBay.

Have there been any rumors about Final Victory putting out any other minibots?

I'd really be interested in their take on a Gears...

I bought this set off Ebay for 70. They look nice but I would avoid this set unless they are for display only and you will never transform them.

All three have loose pins that keep falling out when transforming them. Might have to try some floor polish.

On the Huffer too? I haven't had that issue. Where from?

I find that using pliers or wirecutters to score up one end to create friction, and then re-inserting them tends to work.

"Boyband Brawn"? I don't know what that means.

If you compare this Brawn to the Badcube version that has more the "feel" of what Brawn as a character looks like, this one looks more like a younger Brawn from a boy band. Less imposing, more like the New DC Universe 52 version of Lobo.

Hm. I don't get that at all. Aside from his slightly oversized feet, he's pretty accurate / on-model for Brawn.

I always found the Badcube one looked surprisingly bad. Like, way too squat and stumpy (awkward beyond any canonical representation)... compromised by certain design requirements, maybe?

I think the upcoming Fantoys Hunk is probably the best overall in terms of getting those proportions right (but he's also pretty close to the FV version here).

FV doesn't "feel" like a character called Brawn.
Bade Cube's version LOOKS like a character called Brawn, accuracy notwithstanding.
This Brawn lacks any physical indication he should have a name like Brawn, hence the boy band/Lobo 52 comparison

You look at 52 Lobo, no way in hell is that Lobo. This has that same lacking "feel", even if he looks the part.
