Anyone know if the Star Wars Retro Collection orginal figures is out yet online at any E-tailer. I haven't been able to find that collection yet online. Amazon has it by a seller and they want $175 dollars so no thanks. So anywhere else so far, no one has it listed but i was hoping Pulse would have it but nope nnnnaaaahhhddda.
I am hearing they should be available in the fall on line. I am sure we will hear more at SDCC. I am thinking the reason why they were being sold at Target first was just to test the waters. Though the stores in our area only got one case per store. This was reported on Yakface.com: Hasbro has updated their info for the new Retro Collection assortment of figures. They now state (via press release) that Target will have these this month but online/fan channel retailers will offer them in the Fall. No doubt Target handled these badly in my area.
Heads up Target is putting the 3 3/4" Stormtrooper Han and 6" Stormtrooper Luke on clearance for 50% off. Apparently this also applies to the retro figures if your store was one of the ones that ever got any. I was wondering why my local went from 8 or 9 lukes to 0 overnight.
Picked up 18 Black Series Luke Stormtroopers (for $10 each) going to try and see if I can repaint them to normal Stormtroopers, and 11 TVC Han Stormtrooper for $6.50 each.
Man, Target's been real good to me lately. I'm just glad the Anakin there had a scratch on his chin, or I would've had a tough choice to make. Speaking of, I'm not a huge fan of the fact that they're putting the alternate head behind the label on these, making it pretty much impossible to check the paint on them. Thankfully Maul is mostly fine (the chin's a bit crooked, but I can pretend he is grimacing), but that could be a problem later.
Anyone know if there is a market for the 12 inch 90's Star Wars figures with cloth outfits and such? I got like 20 or 30 of them I'm going to be putting on the market soon. I used to collect them when I was a teen and now they just sit in storage bins in my basement. I'd rather they go to a collector that would properly display them. I plan on keeping my Fett and Vader though. I have most of the other characters.
What are these figures going to go for. About what is the normal cost not just over inflated since these are retro figures. I guessing around $12 to $13 since they are the regular 3 3/4.
Wait?! What?! The new Anakin is out already dude?! Cool haul with Maul - IMO it still looks good after all these years!
I know you Canadians can order it from Amazon.com, but I have not heard anything about the Amazon.ca release of Black Series Emperor Palpatine.
Hit up two Targets on the way into work and picked up a pair of Lukes. One will be a regular Stormtrooper and the other one is going to be cleaned up and get a new head/weapon to be my BF2015 trooper when I get some time to sit down and paint. Both stores had a fair number of them left, no stickers or tags indicating the discount which is probably why there were still any left.
I found some of those today as well...$10 each with a big ole clearance sticker on them. I can't wait to lose the little comm link accessory...
So I saw one of these on Amazon for an ok price. Picked it up anyway: For whatever reason, I thought this would be about the same size as the SHFs. Not that I'm complaining, but I can't wait to mess with this
Yeah I haven't measured to see how tall because I'm kinda busy at work. But after work I'll mess around with it to make sure nothing is off with it.
It is very much a thing. Sometimes when figures don't show up, or seemingly hardly show up at the normal brick and mortar stores....and it's been a while...somehow stores like Ross will have them. But from what I'm aware, there's not really a consistency so checking there every once in a while (or whenever you can) can pay off A buddy of mine found some old convention exclusive GI Joes there, I've found some BS star wars figures there...and even a RTS windcharger at Ross when he was apparently nowhere to be found at TRU, Walmart or Target.
