Sorry man. The instructor lied about one of the paints. I used grey and blue, but the grey turned clear in the kiln. The clay naturally turned from brown to orange in the kiln and the hideous combination of orange and dark blue with light blue optics irritated me so much that I threw it away

Although there was one other minor influence, the main reason I bought a Ferrari 458 was Transformers... it was quite entertaining to me sitting in the showroom with the salesman freeze-framing clips from DotM trying to figure out which options packs I needed to match Dino because the factory wouldn't tell him (although I went for the convertible Spider rather than the film-used Italia).

Also, although the decision to buy it was made before it was announced as a character, the exterior for Bugatti was designed to match Drift as closely as possible (no film clips available at the time, but the sales lady knew the cars made to that point to know the spec).

    Is that nerdy enough?

I legitimately built a remote-control Sqweeks and drove it around my college. I even put a Bluetooth speaker inside it, and drove it around playing music. Mainly this obnoxious song. I also played dog sounds to make people think there was a dog running around campus. For a while, Sqweeks was kind of a running gag with some of my friends, because of how bizarre he looks. It was a funny joke until those friends left college, then I stopped bringing it. It's the kind of thing that's only fun if you're doing it with someone who also finds it hilarious. In hindsight, I probably spent way too much time designing that thing. That was back when I actually had time to spare during semesters, lol. But an RC robot that plays music is pretty fun.

I actually made a friend, because he recognized it as Sqweeks.

I'll also randomly draw Transformers on dry-erase boards around campus. Once I had someone "reply" to my drawing with their own drawing of Megatron. There must be a surprising amount of Transformers fans around my campus.

Making a game of naming every background character in MTMTE's crowd-shots. I can usually guess almost all of them!

I once tried writing a what if episode of TF Prime in script format where Cliffjumper didn't kick the bucket. It wasn't very good.

Otherwise, I'm currently trying to make my own Transformers OC come to life. Posted the progress over at radicons.

I also think of my own alternate take of the TF universe, in which it's a cross-generational continuity separated into 3 generations, with Optimus Prime's rise into the Autobot leader and the Cybertronian civil war at the 1st gen, Transformers arriving on earth and Rodimus Prime's proper rise of power in the 2nd gen, Star Saber and the question of wherever the civil war should've continued in the 3rd gen, all of which slowly build up to an Infinity War/Endgame style finale.
