Well that's the thing we have no idea yet, for all we know repaints outside of a major ones are all going to be TTM exclusives similar to P-Bandai. MP-38 sold like hot garbage, not just on this board, but was at 50-55% discount on Amazon jp, I got mines for $40 off of yahoojp. so I can imagine they may have some reluctance with general releases for BW figures. Outside of different characters/same mold repaints, Diaclones repaints probably sell the best, due to their being a subset of collectors who grew up on Diaclones more so than Transformers. Best best find a comparable size and feature Soc or whoever product and that's probably the price of whichever Takara MP.

The OG negative / Reverse Black Lio Convoy. He was a Japanese TV Magazine special edition release if I remember correctly. Its still misb and in storage somewhere.. Bought it donkeys years ago from god knows where for whatever the heck it sold for at the time. 

 

Some people don't know, but Black Lio Convoy is actually the first repaint in the Nemesis color scheme with the teal silver and black

There's alot they can do with Lio. At the end of BWII he becomes the legendary green warrior and even shows up green in Neo. As far as I can tell they never even made this redeco as a toy.

 

$200 USD is about the most I'd feel comfortable paying for this based on what it is.

I say that as somebody with no real attachment to the character, just looking it as a product compared to other items on the market.

It is. Used to be one or two MPs max when they first started the MP line waay back in 2004. How times have changed and then some!

Uhh. Isnt MP 44 Convoy vet 3.0, MP45 Bee ver 2.0 , MP 46 BW Black Widow and MP47 Hound all coming out this year as well? ! The only other new mold scheduled for a 2020 release is Lio Convoy. Lol.

he does lack that digital print paint thing other BW figs beside Legendary primal has , I don’t think it comes with lights or at least expressive faceplate alternatives and it’s not as complex as dinobot when it comes to kibble hiding in both modes since it looks to share roughly the same transformation as it’s og / rm figures besides the lion head . I was thinking it should go for 16000-21000 yen tbh .
