What's a few months between friends?

Love the paint job, but the left shoulder and both hips are floppy as fuck. Mold deg already?

 

i would say just a bad bot. they never cranked out enough to wear that mold out. plus IF is not known for anything that ships loose or floppy.

if anything given their usual issues you should have at least something broken...lol

 

Right shoulder on mine likes to pop off far too easily but otherwise he's comparable to the others.

 

If anything, mine is the tightest IF figure I've ever been with.

 

Wish mine would get here soon. Shipping is acting weird and just doesn't seem to want to move for the last week

 

And how many IF figures would you say you've... "been with"??

Just got my shipping notice from them this morning.

 

Hoping that mine arrives tomorow, expecting Tuesday.

It'll be a battle with the Newage version for cutest figure.

 

Mine has been showing "on road" now for 11days with no updates! Really sucks because I'm leaving the state for 2 weeks on Saturday and have no idea when it will arrive. They are using Jumingo for tracking and they seem to never update. Anyone know if it gets handed to the USPS or what when it comes stateside?

 

Try parcel monitor, that’s the one I always use and it gets updated frequently.

All joking aside, the tolerances on my Blue Flash were crazy tight out of the box, to the point I was worried about snapping something off. He's loosened up considerably with repeat handling though. I'm sure all of that gorgeous paint didn't help matters any.



Yeah....this guy is a beaut. He really pops on a shelf...to the point where his unpainted carbot brethren look a bit dull in comparison. The figure itself fits in though. For whatever reason, I thought this guy was going to be out of scale with the newer IF releases, but that doesn't seem to be the case. He's generally the same height as the other carbots, apart from a slightly smaller head.

Missed out on the original Tactical Set, so this is my first experience with the mold. Pleased to see that it's held up so well!

Did anyone else get a metallic blue sealed pouch with theirs? I haven't opened it yet, and I want to know what's inside before I do.  

 

generally the pouches contain the collectors card. i never bother with them because they are basically pointless to me.

 

I've bought a dozen or so IF and never received a collectors card. Is that an older IF thing?

 

it is a newish thing i think. like i said i dont really keep track.

 

I've had them in a couple of IF figures that were limited or "collectors" editions. Off the top of my head I know Acid Storm and Red Wing came with them, don't recall seeing them in other figures. Those two were limited releases. To my knowledge Diaclone Bluestreak wasn't marketed as limited or collectors, but I suppose being a Diaclone repaint he might have been produced in smaller numbers of whatever. Point is, IIRC the cards don't come with all IF figures, just "special" ones.

 

Acid Storm, Red Wing, G2 Sideswipe and now blue Bluestreak came with the cards. They're only available with limited edition figures.

 

It seems IF has largely based their scaling around the original Tactical Staff. These are fun figures, if not heavy on the partsforming.

Glad everyone is getting a chance to experience the mold for a decent price!
