The landspeeder set if £55 ffs My curiosity just shifted to that Gun Turret set. Battlepack or normal set? EDIT: IDEAS TREEHOUSE: $200/£180 3036 pieces July for VIP/August for pleb- I mean everybody else
Check Amazon.ca man. I scored the Y-Wing for about $90 off a couple months ago. I think it was around $180 or so after tax. It’s a fantastic build. I too wasn’t planning on getting it, but glad I did. I’m interested by Ren’s ship and the Falcon. If it’s his ship in TFA and TLJ done correctly I’m all over it. One of the best parts of the Sequel trilogy to me is Ren and his ships. Also would like a Minifig scales Falcon.
Already got plans to use all my VIP points on Kylo Ren's Starship. Millennium Falcon and Y-Wing I will have to think about.
Wonder what Kylo’s Ship is going to be, and have about half a mind to pick up another Falcon and maybe mock up my old one with a Dark empire lightning gun.
But... we don't even know what it looks like. I have it saved in my cart just in case it ever goes on deep sale. It actually has no real place in my collection, as I collect only minifig-scale vehicles when I do, but I just like Y-wings so much. Though it begs the question: the fuck were Y-wings in The Last Joke when they needed them instead of those disgusting giant bomber things? (keep that tight formation)
A new UCS Star Destroyer? I'd be in for one. I hope they improved the internal superstructure architecture; the last one became unsustainable after a few years on display (the frame warped, requiring a lot of long pricey Technic pieces...).
I'm also looking at the prices, it's in GBP right? Because Kylo Ren's Starship tallies nearly $190 CAD.
It's not a direct currency conversion. The UK prices are pretty inflated. Checking both versions of the shop, the 110GBP price point corresponds to the $160 CDN price point, the same price as the 20th Anniversary Slave 1.
Hm, not particularly fond of a brown AT-ST, but at $60, I'm def curious to see what they could do with it compared to the one they released for Rogue One.
I usually only do minifig scale myself but I did make an exception for the Y-Wing. It's kind of minifig scale. I think someone said it is around 1.5 X the size of minfig scale. The cockpit is scaled for a minifig and it uses the regular minifig droid. What is nice about this is the body actually faces forward instead of turning it sideways. It's a good solid build, I enjoy it much more than other UCS vehicles (I hated the Slave I). That said the Rogue One version is pretty great too and was like 1/3 of the price or less.
I just checked my VIP account and I do have $150 saved up. Plus I have just 3 more sets to get this summer that will add $15.
SDCC exclusive Captain Marvel set revealed: LEGO 77902 Captain Marvel and the Asis revealed as San Diego Comic-Con 2019 LEGO exclusive [News] | The Brothers Brick
Oh here we go again with the SDCC exclusives. Wanna bet we'll get something similar for Endgame and Shazam?
Out of curiosity, has anyone here even managed to get any of the SDCC Lego exclusives? For some reason, they seem to be the hardest to obtain and most expensive SDCC exclusives ever. I still my damn Unikitties!
Kylo's ship is almost undoubtedly the Tie Echelon currently docked at Galaxys Edge as his field HQ. The AT-ST I'm guessing is the improved TLJ legs and body but with an actual head this time although the brown is a strange choice but I might still pick it up. No interest in a third Falcon though, minifig selection aside I can't see it being too different from the TFA version.
The falcon is basically the flagship ship of Star Wars, but why another one. We have the UCS version (which is basically a must have), then there is the TFA version which is okay, the crappy Solo version (would consider buying at the $40-$50 clearance range), why bother with probably a shitty 4th version, same with the AT-ST (unless it is based off the ROTJ version, but brown). Lego needs to produce a UCS original trilogy AT-AT.
You answered your own question. Its been a few years since a standard color Falcon has been available. An $800 Falcon isn't a viable choice for most. The round dish is back so even people with the TFA one will want the classic shaped dish.
