Haha, thanks man. I will heed your warnings and only feed him Robeasts in the morning. I did use very small wire cutters which got close and then I filed off the little flash that was left, but filing kinda made it worse in some instances, like the black lion. On the white parts and yellow lion it's not as bad.
you can also use a nail clipper , there are ones that even have a small file.. it's small, cheap, and can make close and clean cuts.
Thanks for the heads up. I went ahead and PO two and will probably drop bbts PO cause Surething is $5 cheaper and free shipping.
https://www.gamestop.com/collectibl...gger-xv-soul-of-chogokin-action-figure/178697 Here ya go. $339.99 with free shipping
I'm starting to think this guy will be relatively easy to obtain...lol... Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be a POS...
And since billing for it don't take place until it's released/shipment is processed, maybe that could be an option for folks
From your lips to god's ears. If all goes well we will all have at least 1 Dairugger apiece. I'm considering trying to score 2, one for alt mode display. I almost did that for SOC Voltron but decided to go with a Lego Voltron as my #2 Voltron.
After doing some tax calculations and factoring in free shipping, the price from GameStop is very similar to what I would pay with shipping from Japan. So it's an option I'm definitely considering.
GameStop is about as (un)reliable as Amazon when it comes to cancelling preorders, so I'd not assume that just because GS is having a PO. All POs are selling out, and vendors are just getting a limited supply.
I don't disagree...just seems this guy has been easier to obtain than LV. And, I'd like to know how many of the units that have been preordered are just contingency units that people intend to let go of when we get to release time?
Same can be said about GX-71 rerelease, how many preorders are extras and there might be a sharp drop in price when people do not buy from the scalpers. While the lions are the most popular, I have a feeling it was over ordered by those hoping to cash in.
I know alot of people are buying two for both modes but to me vehicle mode looks like random pieces that's why I didn't like the cartoon. LV looked cool just as lions not just voltron mode. But I realize there completes on this thread and they have to have both modes, but man if your struggling for space those 15 pieces will take up alot.
I wonder how many are actually splurging and getting 3 sets to keep and display (individual, combined vehicle modes, combined robot)? I have to agree that Dairugger has been a lot easier to PO than GoLion (reissue). Either Bandai really upped production or it really isn't as popular (not as many ordering) or combination of both.
I really hate the term "scalper". $350 isn't chump change, so for somebody to buy some extras purely to resell take capital/investment, risk, and other business costs. So I don't see that being overly common. Dealing in toys is a business to some, supply and demand. Crying "scalper" is just sour grapes. I paid for college by dealing in comics and toys, back in the early days of the internet. These days I buy stocks, and it's really not much different than when I sold toys/comics 25 years ago. You have to research the market, know what to buy, and when to sell -- and have money to so. Most SoC orders are from collectors, and many are afraid to place more than one order because (again) it's not pocket money. They don't want to have Paypal/CC double hit by a charge. Furthermore, most places are limiting to 1 per person. (EE didn't limit, and the PO was up for hours, so that's really the only way a reseller could have stocked up. But EE is also pretty bad about POs that can't be filled. Unlike Amazon/GS, they don't cancel the order, just let it fester unfilled.) I don't think supply & demand on this figure will work out how you think. For a $20 Marvel Legends, sure, maybe. For this? I doubt it.
