I'm a few test prints off from being able to make printable bodies compatible with the Mega Construx heads. Due to limitations with Shapeways (particularly in regard to sprue thickness) the full Mega Construx articulation isn't viable, but I'm pretty sure I can produce a six point figure (hips, shoulders, waist, neck) where any of those given parts can be swapped for their MegaConstrux counterparts and visa-versa.

Once those parts are verified, a lot of my larger 3d printed figures can be down-scaled and rearticulated for this format, and I can start making articulated Combat Creature kits you can customize with easy part-swaps. Suggestions and ideas for that are welcome, and I'll be sure to post when commissions are on the way.

Ok you are TOTALLY speaking my language with these! These are gonna be great! Also the Halo Brute parts are a good start for limbs for battle beast style figures.

Do you have a measurement on FOC's neck balljoint? That an a photo of the space the head sticks in vehicle form (preferably with the head removed) and Ic an estimate that.

picked one up today...got 2 different readings 3.97mm and 4.04mm so I am gonna go on a limb and say its 4mm. Saw someone had a 4mm neck adapter for head to body joint...may go ahead and give this a go...

@Trentulas Do you have any plans to make a Blowpipe/Caliburst adaptor like these...
...but with a 5mm port that would fit TR Slugslinger's off-white blaster on the front of that body buck in gun mode? And, if not, what would the commission price be for making one?

I don't really have anything like that planned, were would you want that port? And are you talking adapting the existing guns or a new one?

Sorry for the delay in reply, Trent, but I needed to get some snaps to better illustrate what I'm blathering about. I've put together a wee custom toy-colours Caliburst using a blowpipe and an Aimless pats-swapping, and was messing about trying to figure out if there was a way to integrate TR Slugslinger's single-barrelled gun onto his gun mode.
    DSC_0060.JPG

And, whilst messing about, I realised if I could add a 5mm port about in-line with the Blowpipe components short barrel tip, then I could create a "proper" G1-homage gun mode for Homebrew Caliburst.
    DSC_0061.JPG

I went back to the bits after your reply, tape measure in-hand...
    DSC_0062.JPG Post placement.jpeg
...so if you were to design a backplate with a 5mm port that is 15mm distant from where the Battlemaster feet are pegged in (with 3mm or less of material in front of the peg due to the rectangular projection at the front of the off-white blaster) it would work as a TR Slugslinger Battlemaster Caliburst adaptor to create a more G1-homage gun mode using one of the TR figures weapons. Having had the tape measure out now and realising the limiting factor of the rectangular projection I wonder if it might end up too fragile due to that, and so it may not be feasible.
I do also worry that an alternate single-barrel conversion method might be something that undercuts your mystery TF Con project?

That's...actually pretty clever. I think his project might have something to do with Movie Breakaway, because of the cyberkey-compatible part. One could easily do a powermaster for the figure using the port.

Dunno if you're still doing TR faces, but any chance of doing a Wings Universe version of Flame War? I have an extra TR Hot Rod I have laying around, and figured I might kitbash it into her.

Okay. If you can't find an adapter, I can make a quick mod to provide a version. I'd need measurements of the original head (width, depth, height (both just the head and top of head to bottom of balljoint)), a photo of the space the head folds into in vehicle mode, and if possible a measurement of how far from the back edge of the helmet the center of the balljoint is.

I can do something along those lines for $40.

That would also be a $40 commission situation, though if you are okay going with version 1 Flamewar rather than the Wings version, I've already got a G1 Arcee faceplate that would be very close.

Thanks, Trent, I'll have to hang fire on that for now though, a prior commitment has resurfaced. Sorry, mate.
