I finally transformed Crackup to bot mode for the first time a few days ago after owning it for almost exactly a year!! Time sure does fly.
Overall The quality is good. It would be nice if the front fender pieces tabbed into the backpack somewhere instead of just resting on it but it seems to get the job done.
I've got the Crackup/Sideswipe KO en route and will be delivered to me in 3 days.

Get some transfers, cut in half, allow to dry fully after application et voila....



A larger Decepticon logo that looks factory applied. There's a slight lip between them but it's easy to to line these up as they're water applied and slide around till you're happy. There's also small enough transfers to fit on his elbows and because they're transfers they're flatter than stickers.

 

I'm assuming dry rub are just the ones you peel off the white sheet, apply them and then remove the clear film covering the front of the sticker... If yes, then yes! They are dry rub!

Thanks. It's hard to tell from pics but is the border/back of the logo actually silver or white? I noticed a recent neutral feedback from a customer who was expecting them to be white but in hand it is actually silver.

 

Does anyone have pics showing how they applied G2 Decepticon logos on G2 Crackup?

 

Ha ha. Yea me too. Transformed my first stunticon last night. Will do the other 3 over the next couple days. Love the way these guys look.

 

Just to be clear, I purchased these from one*day_bid, not the seller that the link I provided seems to want to bring up. one*day_bid appears to have pulled down the listing. The border on the Autobot stickers are white, the Decepticon are borderless or clear. Personally I would have preferred they both be the same... either both clear or both white.

 

Got my 3 Stunticons about 40 mins or so ago from the Post Office. yayyyyyy!  

Now Crackup isn't alone anymore.

However, I noticed that after opening the shipping box from Toy Dojo, Overheat's box had already been opened the X-Transbots tape was replaced with transparent tape, the plastic sleeve he was inside of missing. Right off the bat I'm thinking: oh no. nononononono they didn't send me some referbished toy did they? I very very carefully looked the whole thing over. I'm actually scared to Transform it. idk I just don't know.

Flipout's box had the X-Trans tape on it, it looked sealed, but when i opened it, the card and instructions were in a ziplock baggy. "...The Fuck"? was my first thought. I am kinda afraid to transform him now as well.

Deathwish's box brand new, sealed XTB tape, sealed instructions and card etc. so he'll be the one I Transform.

I'm not sure I'm going to buy from Toy Dojo anymore. I'd like to know if other people's figures arrived similar from other people.

 

Maybe they opened Overheat to check it before shipping? I would think they would check by request only, but who knows?

 

My overheat also came with no bag covering the figure and regular stickers not X-Transbots stickers keeping it closed. I think that is just the way Overheat came from the factory as I bought mine from an overseas dealer on Taobao.

Unfortunately mine did come missing a piece on his leg.

OK. Got em all transformed. Realized I skullfaced the transformation on Overheat and cracked the shoulder. No big. At some point, I'll disassemble it, shave the plastic down a bit on the wheel assembly of shoulder to make the tolerances better, glue the crack and put a faction logo over it. *and* shave down the join on the front of the car. I didn't even attempt to fold that sucker backward. Overheat seems to be the only one who has tolerance issues. Didn't have problems with the others. I'll give them a mulligan on Overheat's tolerances.

All in all, this is a dam fine looking team. If the scale was a bit better with Fanstoy's not Motomaster I'd be tempted to pick him up and call it a day. For the time being Action Toys Cy-Kill is the leader of my Stunticons.

 

Or maybe they heard about all the breakages and had people contacting them asking if their copies were good, and since XTB is claiming its only 5% of copies affected, they opened their stock up to do stress testing as well as check to see if the gun was broken?

But yeah I have every G1 and G2 XTB Stunticon release so far, and some of their instructions came in sealed bags, some of them came in ziplocked bags. As I've said before, Toy Dojo has gone above and beyond for me countless times, so they're the last place I'd imagine doing anything nefarious.

 

What's the fix for Deathwish if his upper and lower half don't separate as easily? Which part is shaved or filed?

 

I'd think a drop of silicone oil should do the trick.

 

I just found out there are extra faces for Deathwish. Can’t find any photos. Can anyone share?
