First weekend since freaking October where I don't have studying/revising/anything at all. And coincidentally first day or so in f*cking June when it's not pissing it down or being 11 degrees, yay!

Rumours have it that next big-item MP figures will be a V3 Starscream and finally, a Galvatron. Starscream's rumoured to come with mini props/accessories of military vehicles.

If they've got the engineering level of MP36 I'm in for both of them. Hopefully TT will do a Toy Galvatron release

Well that's some more cash saved. Stayed out of Beast wars MP's - they look fantastic for the most part, but far too many QC issues.

 

Don't think anyone saw that coming.

I'll be in for one with the usual caveats.........like it not costing a thousand quid.

Never thought I’d say I was bored of the constant grind of MP Beast Wars - but here we are. I wish they’d move on to RID or something else. I’ve got money ready for an MP Sideburn.

Also, yesterday was the first day in two weeks that I touched alcohol. Still unsure how I got home. Now need to sell a few toys to make myself feel better about that hole I burned in my bank account yesterday.

Anybody want a Combiner Wars Optimus Prime with beelzeboss upgrade kit for £45? ;p

 

The "blessing/curse" of toon slavery. BWII was traditional (ie: cheap and nothing special) animation rather than the much maligned but n this case superior.CGI........so that's their idea of a Lion. Couldn't get more Japan-cutie if it tried could it.

Speaking of which. Took a punt on it, notice it's made by Macfarline so He gets one punch..........and then crumbles into regrind dust.

 

I dare say it's a very heavy riff on a Japanese classic (blatantly ripped off in the 90s by the House of Mouse)...

...those eyes are super Tezuka-ish.

The bot mode is beautiful, I've always loved Lio Convoy's design. I am, however, interested to see how the MP crowd will defend that alt mode. For the inevitably astronomical price tag, that's a little ridiculous.

Actually gotta say in this case, like censoring boundaries sometimes does, it's inspired a non-offensive edit I'm slightly kicking myself for not thinking of in the first place!

Lio Convoy has a great robot mode and a derpy lion. Just saying that with Cheetor already pulling off the beast mode better at a lower price point and smaller os there really a reason for the legs not compressing better?

First non repaint BWMP I’m not itching for, give me Terrorsaur, Scorponok, Tarantulas, Waspinator, Airrazor, Tigatron, Rattrap or Rhinox instead and I’d be singing differently
