It's good to get verification that this set ships with a black SAT RAID chamber; this set completely obviates any need for me to buy any regular MFT DA-21s in that horrid shade of blue Takara seems to like.

I wonder if they nodded the Tilt Rotor to carry the Raid Chamber?

I took a whack at it a while ago, but some of the dimensions didn't come out quite right. I'll have to set aside some time to fix the drawing.

If the backpack uses a 3mm peg, it should have no issue attaching to the ver2 container.

That Blue is a bit strange it's much lighter than the vintage blue on Diaclone toys, darker than the Light blue used on the Medium Mech, Maybe it matches some other things - but if they were to be using a blue i'd have thought the SWAT team blue was a better choice - and even those seemd to have a grey-blue and a dark blue. Which is odd they decided to use so many different shades of blue.

With the apologies for replying to myself.

I thought i'd mention that I got the New "Chinese Supermarket Edition" Mech Fans Toys-ish Cosmo-thingy (whatever it's called - it's all in Chinese - so heck knows what It's acctually called). But it's the one with the Spider-Man colour Mini-mech with it (which is quite adorable incidentally).

But since we were discussing the colour blue - I thought i'd mention The Blue is pretty pale and has a very slight violet tinge to it.

But I had a thought as I was playing with it - I was wondering if they had sneakily used more than one kinda suit like they have done before in giftsets. Something to watch out for perhaps.

You get the full set of weapons and a container with it too - none of which is in the instructions. This seems to essentially be the intial release only in White since it has the wings and not the space thrusters instead.

The head mechanism is a bit janky but other than that everything seems to fit as it should and i'm pretty much certain it's the same mould as the MFT ones previously released. The leg mechanism release isn't working as well as it might I don't know if it's that meh on the Takara Original too though. Not a huge issue just not ideal as it is. A Couple of the cockpits might need a small drip of floor polish in them just to help prevent accidental opening - they hold in place fine otherwise though even if there is a pilot in there and you shake them.

The Pilots are the same quality as usual too. Overall a nice set - but perhaps the other option with the alternative backpack might be a better buy for some depending on how much you want a Spider-Man mech. (which I did). Now I just have to see about getting some additional elements if I can Such as the long silver guns that MFT's Omega Supreme has - those would be useful with this set.

I was watching a Chinese Review of the Cosmo Battle Manuveure Offical release and it showed a duel mode with the Grey Prototype and the white space type combined the observation I wanted to make is that the new Giftset version is basically the Prototype set only in white so if you buy the Manouvre set you can make that combination only both sets would be White and it appears options wise there is a Grey Manuvere too so you can make a Grey Proto and Grey Manuvere combination too.

Picked up this Tauran WH set in the hopes of up-ticulating the pilots onto MegaConstrux Halo Elite bucks; but now that I've got it all in-hand I see the Tau pilots are DiaNaut-sized. I'm gonna need a spare pair of 'Naut pilots to upgrade them.

This reminds me of the fact that there are no Dianaut with Warhammer 40k figure side by side comparison images that I'm aware of. I'm curious as to whether the GW 28mm heroic scale is much larger than the 30mm Takara Dianaut scale.

I do know the Tau helmets have been modified and used on Dianaut bodies.

40k figures in armor will certainly look bulky next to the svelte Dianauts.

I'll see what I can do. I'm limited in my selection of donor DiaDudes.

I took this for a 15mm gaming group because someone there had a similar question. Should help you out.

Picked up this Warhammer 40K Tau 2man set in the hopes of up-ticulating them onto MegaConstrux figures; but now I see they're DiaNaut/Waruder-sized:

I don't have enough DiaPilots or Warudaroids to spare cutting the Tau dudes onto, but I will endeavour to get more for that purpose.

The scale difference is what I expected despite Games Workshop product being advertised as 28mm scale.

Meh...all good. The Tau vehicles and mechs are still extremely kick ass and this gives everyone an excuse to continue perfecting their sculpting skills.

I was really hoping they would start doing some of the Battles/Big powered in lots of different colors. It looks like most KOs are just doing some new things for the small suits and only replicating the big bots.

(digipaints that I did a while back; honestly I'd buy pretty much anything Reboot that they made in these colorways)
