Back again to share a new custom that i finished today. Transformers seige autobot Ratchet. Looks great overall. I used Ironhide had from the figure and just resculpted it to look exactly like g1 ratchet. This figure is available if anyone is interested in adding him to there collection just let me know. Guesses: Hexa-pattern in the crosses is reflective tape. Hands are from MP car-bot. Gun is from PotP Jazz. Looks good!
Thanks! Your correct on all what i used for the custom. Hours of sanding and cleaning also. Plus shaving down all pinch points. Primed and adhesive promoter because painting white over red plastic causes it to bleed red so the final product looks pink. But this ratchet came out perfect and ill be doing a few more.
Even if a Ratchet redo is inevitable from Hasbro, I bet it won't look this good. The metallic looks great.

Agreed! I would buy yours in a heartbeat!!! Is there a way for us to convince Hasbro to repaint their version before its in full production? Why can we get cartoon accurate ironhide but not ratchet!!?! Argh!!! Red groin, white limbs, new head, and a siren - not hard Hasbro!! U made new shoulders and legs but couldn’t get the paint apps right!? Sorry, just been looking forward to the ratchet figure and I’m just disappointed is all. Prob cuz this custom is so wonderful!
