Agree with this part for sure. I still can't believe this was made to the level it was. Totally came out of left field for me as it wasn't on my radar at all, to being one of if not my favorite TF of all time.

Speaking of holding something, has anyone tried to see if the MP10 Megs gun fits TE01 hands?? I forgot to try it myself.

Only this past week found out about the new head sculpt for TE-01. Been dealing with comics the past couple months and haven’t had much time for TF love. Kinda blown away by how much better the new head makes this figure looks. Instantly hunted one down and canceled my MP44 PO. Alt and robot mode both look great.

I honestly can’t say I’m as impressed with either mode of MP44 after taking a closer look and watching reviews of this guy. I don’t even see how Takara purists can resist this guy at his price point.

Top half looks unbelievable but the broken panels on his waist and the shin design are what makes me uneasy with this one

MS-01 Metallic is very nice but , who am I fooling , I'm going to buy Takara V3. All 3 figures are top notch in the visual department. I think everything hinges on Takaras quality control.

Has anybody seen this? Exactly what TE sorely needs, a FN neck

Yes, I'm sure that when MP44 is released, I will come to love giant backpacks.

In the off chance that doesn't happen, though, I will stick with TE-01 for now and keep my $400.

I may just wait and see if the official gets a HQ KO like Megatron did. I still prefer that one the most and I feel that a KO company may go the extra mile and get rid of the electronics and reduce the backpack size as well as provide a more afforable figure.

I think it's difficult to reduce the backpack size with the same size KO.
In the case of oversized KO, the possibility is high.
I am looking forward to seeing what will happen in the future.

To be fair, the backpack looks ok in the latest pics.

Honestly, they would have to modify nearly all the figure to make that back pack disappear, it is quite an important part during the transformation so if you reduce it, you also reduce the shape of the truck mode.

It looks exactly the same as it always has -- like an upsized version of the Siege Optimus figure with the backpack being solid instead of having gaps. The backpack is basically the same width as Optimus himself. I'm not sure what you even mean.
