I PO'ed this guy from Hasbro Pulse, which qualified me for a free Premium membership during the initial promo period, so I'll get free shipping. They charge applicable sales tax but I think a lot of retailers are starting to do that. So maybe keep an eye out, perhaps they'll do another promo to upgrade for free? They just extended memberships to the end of 2019 too so people should be able to get the same deal for MP-19+, assuming they carry it.

Also fingers crossed they don't take months to ship these things out due to whatever caused those Prowl+ and Wheeljack+ delays...

 

Man this guy can sure get some great poses. Just 6 more weeks!

 

Man, he looks so damn smart in robot mode.

I don't care for the matte paints in alt-mode, though. I guess I'll keep my regular Streak and use this as the template for repainting select robot parts.

 

How much will BBTS charge? Do they still have the flat rate $4?

@chchchch I’ll look into it but I’d prefer to find a solid deal that won’t rely on hoping, lol. Amazon Japan is about the deepest I’ll go into “gambling” for a good price.

Saw on Forbidden Planet’s website they’re expecting this guy in stock late October. Don’t know if that’s the norm for them, or if that’s genuinely when BBTS and others are expecting to get their Hasbro-sleeved stock. Based on MP-20+, that’s not entirely unlikely.

 

If he does, that’s perfect for me. Not planning on getting Black Arachnia so that fills a hole in later this year.

 

I'm getting so unorganized I didn't even remember this wasn't released until I saw this thread. Then I had to go dig around and see if I had it pre-ordered somewhere.

It is. But the West has had terrible delays with + releases lately.

 

Yeah, I don't know what it is lately but it isn't just Transformers. With the current rate of things I expect Bluestreak to be here around the same time as MP44. I'm going to have to live vicariously though you guys and gals that get him on time. Lol

But... he's still the same Datsun mold. You can do all those poses with MP-18 (and some Bluetac, apparently). The only thing that he has is blaster effects and expression-laden faces.

I'm still getting him, but it won't be just for the poses.

 

I'm starting to really dig this release.

 

I think it’s more cause he can still pose well. As in the mould isn’t too dated.

 

Sortof - the ball joint neck of the + here makes a big difference in the pose. If they’d just kept the hinge neck of the og poses like this wouldn’t look quite right.
