I feel like Needlenose will be the clear winner here, and the best logical choice. The legends class gnaw and insecticons we got are perfect for troop building with the size and price point. Runamok might be a close second being that we haven’t gotten a good version of it lately. I highly doubt a Siege Needlenose will be a better version than the CW repaint with both targetmasters but with all the battlemasters available to buy, if he isn’t an exclusive with both, they can easily be pieced together to make it right.

If I had a Facebook, I’d vote Needlenose.

 

I’d say a lot of people like myself HAD one at one time and got tired of the BS on there, or hearing the innermost thoughts of your best friends which totally go against one's own thoughts or beliefs.

As far as spare time at work the answer is simple, visit TF sites and google images of TF’s to enhance your knowledge of what you love the most, without all the BS!

Oh wait....there can be a lot of that here! But it’s much easier to stomach in my experience!

 

He's the only classic cityformer left though. And I wouldn't exactly call the middle of the trilogy "this soon".

 

I'm really curious as to what Hasbro will do with the titan assortment once Scorps is ticked off the list.

Do Sky Lynx, since he's as big, if not bigger than Predaking. Then other giant characters like Grandus or Tidal Wave. Then possibly in-scale(in combined modes) versions of the Scramble City combiners. Then there's Unicron & Primus. Then re-dos of the cityformers to make them even more G1. Yeah, there's a bunch they could do.

 

Whoever designed Mirage can please stay away from Needlenose. Lol

 

For what it's worth, there are perfectly suitable alternatives out there right now via Funpub or Takara, depending on your financial level.

 

I got a vote in on Facebook but i just had to vote Needlenose. Well even though i want Runamuck,Runabout, i just took a good look at Needlenose pic and couldn't resist to not vote for him.

 

How does Hasbro make sure the fans vote for the one toy that would already be in development, because it takes 12-18 months from drawing board to store?
Put it up against three options that won't win.
Two options just had Generations toys last year, so more people will prefer a new character toy.
And one option has the wrong name on the image, so when they do a hashtag search/count for the four names that they said we HAD TO USE, anyone posting with #Runamok won't show up.

Just an observation... I'm not saying that it is definitely rigged, but two of the options never had a chance, leading me to think that the wrong name on the third was intentional, because there's no way it was not noticed by Hasbro Marketing before it was posted, and they still haven't corrected it almost 24 hours later.

grandus isnt titan size, but a full battle stars set might fit the price point.
and on that note, i wouldnt mind if the titan class becames a 'box set' class giving us new iterations of non combining teams like leader scale dinobots, or the djd, wreckers, etc. after my boy scorponok is made, i think i'd prefer that than to have redo's, we only get one a year and i dont want titan class to go the way of masterpiece and give us devy 2.0 and metroplex 2.0-3.0 instead of finding more creative ways to fill the price point sensibly(unicron, primus, the ark, the nemesis, liokaiser, raiden, are all guys/things id like to see in titan class/ i think fit titan class after scorponok)

 

See i understand the inclusion of each of these characters EXCEPT Needlenose, but i think thats just because i don't know anything about the character. Was he a really big player in the comics? Whats his backstory? From more of a toy standpoint and less of a character one, yea it makes total sense for us to have a double targetmaster in a line that's totally battle themed, especially one who can be some variant of a Cybertronian jet.

I guess whats throwing me off is everyone else in this line so far feels like they're filling some sort of hole in the generations line (The weaponizers to partner with their respective titans, Flywheels to go with battletrap, Chromia and Greenlight to finish off most of the female autobots), and the rest have just be straight g1. I guess i, personally, don't really see how Nn fits into the line as a whole.

I just see a lot of people excited that Needlenose is probably getting a release and i just want to be as excited as the rest of you!

 

GUYS I BEG YOU, PLEASE RECONSIDER NEEDLENOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

needlenose adds yet another double targetmaster, of which we have had 2 at retail, scoop (with targetmasters) and quake (without targetmasters), so needlenose fills as much of a hole in peoples collections as when bombshell was announced for combiner wars with no apparent kickback in sight at the time
