Really nicely done!

The Ptero head, that shade of blue against the intense orange, the colour mapping to match the G1 animation model, all great looking!

This has been a dream of mine since that mold was released.
I wish I had your skill and patience, but part of me is satisfied that somewhere in the world this figure exists.
If Hasbro is searching for ideas for Generations Select I hope they see whay you've done here.

I'm glad you caught the colour mapping. As I was painting him and looking at the figure, things just fell into place. I originally didn't plan on using the darker blue but the figure needed a touch of detail. And the gray on the top of the knees were a last minute addition when I noticed the u-shape on the G1 model.

Generations Select has me hopefully for a bunch of cool ideas I had in my brain.

Yes, the only problem is too choose between him and Skyshadow, as they're on the same level of awesomeness. If you can,take both.

I have the deluxe sky shadow already and I dont think i need the mold twice. OL is 30 on bbts while shadow is still full price.

 

Sky Shadow is the superior version of that mold IMO, and puts the old Generations deluxe mold to shame.

 

I'm sure it does. However as I currently have have that (very) minor character already represented in my collection it is not a priority. What makes it superior to the overlord version and is it $15-20 better?

I guess the "$15-20 better" is subjective, but the colors and overall design are more appealing to me. Overlord has been pushed too hard lately IMO.
