It looks fairly certain Skalor has his Targetmaster gun mode too! The post on the back of his pistol has the necessary hole on the bottom of his fish jaw, visible in the robot mode. Nice!

It says Free Shipping AND Epic Perks right on their website. As soon as the epic perks comes, I'll concede that I was wrong. The fact that they're extending it for another year for free is also telling.

"Other extras throughout the year at select fan conventions and more"

there havent been any conventions yet. besides the first year was free, what exactly is there to complain about? not like you had to pay for it

Except I did pay for it. I made a non discounted purchase through them to get upgraded to Premium.

I'll let you have the last word on this if you want. I don't want to detail the thread any more.

no, again that is a false perspective. you made a non discounted purchase for a retail item and got free pulse as a bonus. you can deny that reality all you want, but you didnt pay for pulse (which cost $50)

anyway, how long before we should expect preorders on pulse for these guys? summer is right around the corner

Ummm, no. That means you did NOT pay for it. Like most of us, you got it for free when you purchased something from them.

Chances of Piranacon being an SDCC (or other convention) exclusive are low, but the chances of him being available for order on Hasbro Pulse are high

Oh, sure. In that case, all Hasbro would say would be something like, "Yes, they'll be on Pulse" or something similar. They'll likely not be released in Hasbro packaging w/Hasbro pricing

Funny that they made a custom CW compatible stand just to hold him up... must not have a 3rd mold ready enough to use as the other leg...

Star Convoy at "retail" is a pretty sweet perk. Since you got the Premium for free and will get it shipped free if you choose to order it.

Odds are *very* good Snaptrap and co. will come via Pulse and I'll get them for $60/$30 instead of whatever markup BBTS charges.

I just realized a problem and I think this was why I was against the complete six from logistics. If the sixth member can form the gun and scramble combine then that means Piranhacon can't hold up his targetmaster due to the sheer weight.

Unless I missed it, I don't see any sign of Tentakill, maybe he'll be legends sized?

Certain Transformers powers get nerfed otherwise they\'d be instant death for characters with plot armour - the Seacons though are more of a threat in or underwater.
Also Comic Galvatron was dimensionally linked to Unicron meaning he was hugely powerful.

Skalor is made from Blot, obviously... but I wonder where the robot arms come from? As the fish arms are not the robot arms. And I hope the rear fin is not a partsforming part.
Seems his guns do combine, and he even has a sword. Maybe the swords combine into a bigger sword for Piranacon?
I am not feeling Piranacon as much. Head is great, but the chest is weirdly flat and angular instead of the more rounded shapes of the original. And the giant combiner ports look odd on the turtle mode.
Here is hoping Hasbro also releases these on Hasbropulse, if nowhere else.
No, you can see the crab legs on the right arm's bottom, and it is also longer than the other arm, clearly indicating that Nautilator is used as the gun. Tentakil is the other leg, as on the official G1 configuration.

Also he comes with a foot AND a fist? That to me suggests the foot parts can be used as the "stand", and maybe that sword he is holding is the pole you can mount him in gun mode.
I am not so sure this is Takara's project only. Let's not forget, a ton of PotP and WFC Siege toys were also designed by Takara as a cooperation. Just because they are showing them off first does not mean it is their exclusive. We will soon know on SDCC. Hasbro - especially John Warden - know the fans and what they want, I mean we are getting Impactor and a vote about Needlenose and Runamuck? Unlike the Star Convoy that mostly means something to Japanese fans only, Hasbro knows the fans wanted Seacons ever since CW. I am pretty sure they will release it too, if nothing else, packed in those featureless Generations Select boxes.

Pulse did promise more than free shipping. They did NOT define what the "more" was (go Tigatron2002?).

But this is like debating whether or not Hascon was "successful". As a Hasbro defender, I know Tigatron2002's stance on that issue, too! :p
Toker did not pay for "free shipping through all of 2019"; he paid for the promise of "epic perks". Your argument is that getting a t-shirt instead of the shoes you were expecting is a perfectly fine business practices, because you got SOMETHING. I will refer you to TanaCon: YouTuber’s anti-VidCon convention TanaCon was such a disaster that fans are comparing it to Fyre Fest
Others complained that the gift bags — which were only included with purchase of a VIP ticket and were promised to be worth “quadruple the price” of the ticket — were laughably sparse, save for small items like a wristband and condoms branded “TanaCondoms.”

Toker paid for a retail item he may or may not have actually wanted (I paid for an item I would have waited to purchase at a discount!). "Not paying for it" is a subjective interpretation of giving HasbroPulse money for something you expected to receive but did not. Furthermore, Toker explained he did NOT take advantage of the free-ship-program because the retail prices on the website did NOT appeal to him.

The issue here is that a bunch of you pay full price (or more) for everything and do not understand that some of us do not have the funds to pay full price for everything, even with "free" shipping.

The "half-off" deluxe figures someone else mentioned (on Pulse) was a clerical error that was quickly corrected; I purchased deluxe figures at Target during their last big sale for $11.49 ea. locally - a much better deal than anything Pulse has provided in their entire existence. In addition, you can get "free shipping" retail-priced figures at a lot of different websites (that do NOT charge you for the free-ship program); Toker and I are a little unclear about the "epic" benefits of HasbroPulse over other sites like Target, Walmart, and Amazon.

    This.

The prices REMIND me of 3P prices. I'm not engaging another "name a 3P price that's this low!" argument again... :rolleyes2

I like the new Hasbro toys, but you've got to admit they are NOT Premium toys. So paying a lot more than the already (arguably) high retail prices does not sit well with me! :)
