For you between the two options of the poll, which would you choose to be the name to refer to the new series of movies started with Bumblebee last 2018, you know that many fans refer to the 5 previous films as Bayverse as they referred to the new one?

 

Not every movie will be directed by Knight and not every movie will be specifically about Bee so I think both of these names don’t fit :/

I think it's too early to decide. The last series was very much Bay's vision, so it was definitely Bay's series. We don't know yet if Knight is going to continue having input. The series might not even be one artist's vision moving forward. And since Bumblebee was created as a Bay prequel (and was technically produced by him), maybe Bumblebee should be considered part of Bayformers, and we shouldn't apply a new name until he's gone. It's really hard to know where one series ends, and the next begins.

Didn't Travis Knight say he want to go back to Laika and, thus, declined the offer to do the sequel? Besides "Knightverse" may cause confusion with TLK. I think "Beeverse" is appropriate imo. Isn't the sequel even reported to have the running title of Bumblebee 2?

 

He never declined the offer. He’s just going back to Laika for now.

I don't want it to be the "Travisverse" as we don't know if he will return for future films and I don't want it to be called the "Beeverse" cause it would feel like the world simply revolves around Bumblebee.
I cannot think of a new title.

I've heard the CW DC shows referred to as the Arrowverse because they all spin off of the Arrow show. So following that line of reasoning one could make the argument for naming a universe after the originator in this case as well despite the contents of the subsequent entries. In that case, the options in the op would be valid.
