See, and I think that's exactly what a series - limited or not - about his life with Peggy would do. For me, this is one of those things where I don't think anyone needs ALL the gaps filled in and even more backstory forced to be told. I like that we know he finally managed to get his happy ending and second chance to have a life with her - but I don't need to also SEE it. Know what I mean?

I personally miss the days of some things just being left the hell alone and/or a mystery vs. this new increasingly terrible trend from Hollywood of absolutely everyone & everything getting an origin, prequel, time gap fill-in, etc etc etc. for things that were much better NOT known 99% of the time. That, and on this particular topic, I feel like I've seen everything I need to when it comes to Steve & Peggy collectively as well as independently.

and i do wanna point out animated is so different from live action. he can record lines for an episode or two in far less time than it would take live action. him doing VA work isn't comparable to him suiting up again.

I love how people just run with click bait nonsense. News flash... they haven't announced the new slate of films yet. Just because they haven't said anything doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Unless Feige says "yeah, we're not doing that" I wouldn't put too much stock in this kind of "fan talk".

 

Well it was the ant-man actor himself who told us this and wanting fans to tell marvel you want another film. His words made it sound like ant-man and wasp may be only cameos in other movies. Plus the video said take it with a grain of salt. Did you watch the video?

 

Yeah, and it doesn't detract from what I said. Especially when you take into account the current situation like both Feige and ScarJo acting like they don't know what anyone is talking about when asked about a Black Widow film even though it's been in production for some time now and appears to have started filming. Because it hasn't officially been announced by Marvel Studios and they don't plan to announce anything until SDCC last I heard.

Not sure if he means Riri Williams or Morgan Stark. Anyway, someone has to carry on the Stark legacy.

 

His daughter carrying on his legacy would get my vote. But they’d have to Age her up first which would mean another time jump...

 

I vote his daughter. Nothing against Riri, but it would make more sense for his daughter to become Ironheart in terms of the MCU.

 

I could see that (though admittedly because of my belief that any MCU version of the X-Men should take place in the same time period [at least 15 years after Endgame]).

 

I'd be down for Ironheart. Nothing against Riri, but Morgan Stark would make more sense than her in the MCU. That said we'd need another time skip or wait until the kid legit ages up. Although Katherine Langford had a deleted scene as a teenage Morgan that was removed from Endgame due to confusing the audiences at early or pre screenings. So maybe they've got something else planned.

 

Yeah if there is a new Iron Man character, I would definitely prefer it to be someone they had already set up like Morgan. Riri just wasn’t that interesting, and I’m pretty sure her comic sold even worse than all the modern Carol Danvers books. I’d accept Harley too since they already set him up as well. Maybe they could have both Ironheart and Iron Lad. You could even do a Spiderverse kind of project like having 3 generations of Iron Men with Rhodey and Harley training Morgan.
