That’s a great point and I can’t argue about that. I wish they did focus on more bot time. And seeing sideswipe sad after Ironhides death would’ve been great cause that’s how I felt lol

 

It’s a shame those days are long behind us. Call it pessimism, but even with wins at the Oscars I doubt a reboot-verse can sustain the same level of hype Bayformers had. Today’s market tastes are too vastly different from that in 2007-2011 to secure another billion dollar money maker IMO

There’s also the power of headcanon, filling holes Bay never knew or bothered to fill! The fun thing about headcanoning for me, especially in vague, poorly written films like Bayformers is that you can’t say they contradict the official timeline as much as they don’t, and I have a lot of them:

1. What happened to Shia in AOE
2. How Soundwave shrank between ROTF and AOE
3. Why we betrayed the Autobots
4. Quintessa and the Creators
5. How Galvatron became TLK Megatron
6. Why Barricade keeps running at the end of every odd movie

I don't remember who it was, but someone asked if and when Someone got the DNA kit for Ironhide and was not going to use the guns and was temped to sell them he would be interested in buying them... That moment is now!
I am not going to keep the guns and knifes so they could be for sale if that person still wants them.

Hah! I literally had the showz preorder page in another tab to post here before I read your post. Beat me to it! Showz is a great store, and this figure looks amazing. I had him preordered a while back but canceled since I didn't think I needed him, but when the colored test shots were revealed and when I saw Ben's "review" a couple months ago I re-pre-ordered. Hoping he actually releases soon!

I also have Hot Rod preordered through them, but at this point, I can only get one MPM figure, so I'm debating whether to get Hot Rod, or BMB Beetlebee. I think I'm leaning more towards Hot Rod and get Beetlebee later.
