That's a good heads up to everyone. I found that out by trial and error as I went some KO MPs and one was $24.99 and I wasn't getting the promotion so I just found one for a dollar more and it worked.

 

Out of curiosity - what happens if you activate an offer on a phone and check-out on decktop

Or what happens if you bid on an auction on desktop and pay in a phone does that equate to the 8% or the 13% deal ?

If you are buying new items, then you can probably find a better price buying elsewhere, 13% in Ebay bucks is nothing and now with most states collecting sales tax, unless Ebay is willing to break out the 20% or even try a 25% off, let there item sold numbers drop.

 

eBay knows where you checkout at. I just looked at the difference of the bucks on app and Chrome browser and there was a difference.

Atleast with the bucks you can use it till the expiration date on the 13th unlike flash sales you can only use it once.

Discover card has a 3rd quarter 2019 5% cashback promo for restaurants and paypal, up to $1,500 total qualifying purchases in the quarter, e.g. max of $75 cashback for the increased cashback % promo.
Can wait for double dipping opportunity when there is an ebay discont promo, then use paypal checkout with discover card during July thru Sept.

 

@plastyxdistress, that discover card offer is only good when you pay by discover card via PayPal? It is not bad, only drawback is that you lose the pay pal credit of buying now, pay it off six months later no interest.

Yes, use Discover CC via Paypal to pay for goods or services. They have quarterly long promos of bonus cashback with specific vendors or categories, e.g. gas, Amazon, restaurants, home improvement, etc.
You have to log onto your Discover account and manually activate the quarterly bonus cashback promo, akin to activating eBay bonus cashback promos.

 

Hey anyone know how to actually use these eBay bucks? I have something in my cart and when I go to check out it prompts me to add a code. If I use the classic site and go into eBay bucks under my eBay I get a server down message. I should have like $30 on eBay bucks now. Trying to pick up a x-transbots Toro.

 

From when I used them in the past, I had either a code or ebay allowed me to choose it during checkout. Did you confirm, which I assume but you said "I should" check to see in your account that $30 is there? Go to "watch List" and on the left, there is a tab to click for ebucks summary.

 

eBay bucks are delivered on the third day of the Of the first month of the quarter (Jan, April, July, Oct)...and you have typically 30 days to use the code from the day it’s issued. If you’ve earned 30$ in ebucks, was that issued in April, or during the current quarter (and hasn’t been issued yet)?

 

Toro's a solid figure. Decided on getting him over the MMC option and glad I did. Looks exactly like I want Cliffjumper to look. I don't know how much he's going for on ebay, but BBTS has him on sale now for $45.
