I've wanted this character in MP for for ages. So I built my own last year. ;)

If XTB is serious about making one, I'd rather have theirs. Articulation aside, you know it's going to be hard plastics, maybe some die cast and probably painted some...you know....premium-ish. This one is nice but it does look sorta "I'm made of vinyl" to me.

This looks pretty interesting. Not gonna lie I'm really glad they didn't try to give this thing an alt mode. It would have been a mess and just make the worse in every way.

Though given that lack of unnecessary engineering and parts count, I do have a concern. It doesn't look very articulated. I see elbow hinges, most likely shoulders, the head can probably move, wrist looks like its on a ball-joint, and maybe a waist swivel. that's it. No bicep swivels, no ab crunch, and the legs looks completely and utterly stiff. No ankles, no knees, no hips. Nothing. Non transforming high end figures should be held to a higher standard of articulation than transforming figures, and this things goes significantly below standard for even common retail figures.

As odd as this one is, I'd get it, just to be complete.

That is very cool. And the box is almost as cool as the figure itself..
Can it pull off the “Quasimodo hunch” posture?

You know, it's entirely speculation on my part but this has a certain MAAS vibe about it. That alone keeps me from trusting it.

But it also looks like a giant PVC limited articulation brick.

I can wait for the XTB figure over this.

dont forget that this is a render, we got a little while till we see in hand images. IRL lighting and plastics will give it a very different look.

Y'know, provided it is inexpensive and the joints aren't complete crap, this is the one for me.

I think I like it. Then again, I liked IT's Quint series.

Oh yeah - I've always had fun picking out which parts on Autobot X/Spike are leftovers from other Autobots. Is every piece accounted for in that manner, or is there some original body parts?

This seems to oddly work. I am surprised. I was sure this was going to be a complete train wreck when I first saw it. It will be interesting to see it side by side with XTB's.

Hmmn. So looks like the legs do have articulation. I’m tentatively still interested. Won’t be buying till I see reviews but it could work.

For those in the camp of "can't buy transformer if it don't transform". Where does Autobot spike fall into? o_O
